Gaudy, but Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks like a hulking piece of space trash (at least according to my wife), but it works wonderfully and really maxes out our wi-fi speeds, with great range. We are on a 100 mbit/s plan, and can get close to 120 with a wired connection. Most times of day I can still get up to 110 on wi-fi, as long as i'm using a newer device that supports 802.11ac. And still at least 50-60 with old "n" devices.

The Nighthawk pays for itself

Currently paying for 200mbs and regularly get between 190/195mbs. We normally have about 10 devices connected and there is no slow down or drag time. Installing the app that goes with it, provides an easy way to check your speeds and channels to see what gets you the best signal. It has parental controls and security as well. This was a good purchase.

Good WiFi range

Fantastic Wireless Coverage!

The old access point also had a maximum wireless bandwidth of 72Mbps. A small home office had computers equipped to have 250Mbps. Replaced it with the R6400, speeds are actually 300Mbps on a 2.4Ghz network! I also own one for my own home. Still going strong, rarely have issues, great coverage. Don't get caught buying the latest - this will be good for some time.
