I have this router extending my WIFI to the end of my apartment. Prior to me purchasing this item, my previous Netgear router would have a very weak link if I was about 700 feet away. With the Nighthawk, I can be from one end to the other end of the apartment and the link full bars no matter where I am in my apartment.

Has been a good choice!

The salesman gave me good advice when he suggested this was one that might be appropriate for my situation. I have a hardwired Mac OS 10 set-up and use this router for the Chromebook in the other room about 30 feet away (it's a clear shot in between--no walls). Set-up was very easy and so far it's been great with no connection issues.
