so far the router is working better than what I previously had

It’s a router, it set up easy, and so far works well. Not sure why they cost so much?

It was easy to install. We still have buffering but not real bad.

Works great, such an improvement from my old router. You won't be disappointed. No more lag, smoking fast. My 6 year old son used to bog down our old router with his iPad mini. Not a problem with this NETGEAR. I told the salesman, I wanted the best router they had. This was the first one he showed me. I then asked about the more expensive ones there. Really no difference just, cost. Very happy!

This router is used in a small house, but with a heavy wireless load (usually two computers and two tablets). With the basic router, someone lost connection about every two hours, requiring a reboot to reconnect. Upgrading to this router has reduced the reboots to about once in two or so weeks. Setting up was a bit of a trial with special "Genie" software, but after that, we have had no problems.

This item is still unopened in its box. I am hoping it will do what I bought it for, but the last 2 didn't. Kinda just procrastinating because I'm in no hurry to deal with my cable company for about the 30th time if it doesn't. I don't know if I would actually recommend to a friend because I haven't used it, but will say so, giving the benefit of the doubt. No other option. This is also why 4 stars.

My Sister needed a better router than her AC600 router from Walmart, so I recommended this model to her, and she said it was a NIGHT AND DAY difference. She's a simple Internet user, so all of her products work excellently with this router. If you have less than 1,000 sq.ft, single or one roommate, with about 10-15 devices, then this will do you well!

I had one that I was renting from Charter and it wasn't any good. This one is so much better.
