This router works wonderfully. It was a bit difficult to set up. There was a code that we had to use since we were using an older desktop computer as well as laptop, TV. After several hours of struggling, we finally discovered the problem on our own and it was a piece of cake after that! Overall, this product is so much better than the router supplied by ATT.

This modem/router was so easy to use and set up that my husband (who emphatically does not read instructions) handled it himself with no difficulty. Connections are solid and after a week of use we have not had any issues.

Easy to install, easy to setup and it's fast and reliable...

Although I'm semi "techie" I was a little wary of setting this router up. But it was so very easy. My only delay was not knowing my account info from my provider (AT&T). After I got that info, it was practically automatic.

Honestly, some might think this router/DSL modem combo a little expensive but honestly it's not once you factor in either having to buy a modem or rent it from your ISP separately. The WiFi range and signal strength is amazing, the dual band signals work great as well. I have a 40 Mbs fiberoptic service and i routinely clock about 55-60 Mbs speed on the 5 G band. I would recommend this product to anyone , especially people who are tired of not getting good WiFI strength in their home. Also because of the dual band, you can essentially partition your devices, like smart tv's, any mobile devices to the 2.5G band or as needed.

I bought this unit to replace the one supplied by the ISP. Their unit was slower than this one and quit working often and replaced a few times. Also the monthly rent for the ISP modem pays for this one quickly. The Netgear set up is easy and can be configured for a basic system with out a lot of knowledge. I have set up several Netgear routers & modems and they are mostly simular in set up. I did have a problem with this one but support was very good with help and it appears so far the problem was the power supply.

I decided to purchase the router when my wife was having DSL installed The installation instructions were clear and we'll written they even included phone numbers to talk to the carrier. Installation was a breeze.

Before my husband purchased this modem/router, my old computer would just disconnect from the internet, and it would take forever to get back on. Now, I am not having that trouble. We are running a Roku, two computers, two cell phones, BR player, etc., of course, not all at the same time. So far, this is meeting our needs.

We upgraded our DSL speed because of the number of Wifi devices we have. After running speed tests, we saw we were not getting the speed we were paying for. After a service call to or carrier, we learned that we needed an upgraded modem. Rather than rent one from the carrier, we bought this and speed has greatly improved.

Overall, it is easy to install and perform well. It is good for the price and work perfectly for dsl built in wireless modem.

I purchased this router to replace the one from Verizon. The Internet is faster than the router that came from Verizon, but the range seems not to be as strong. Overall I am very happy with this router.

Loved the advanced features but have not yet tried the USB connection for hard drive. Setup wizard quickly recognized Internet providers settings and had connection within 10 minutes from start to finish

This router easy to install and setup. It is compatible with AT&T DSL, but you will have to contact them to get your password to setup the router. After getting the password setup was easily accomplished.

This purchase was probably long overdue. Why pay $5.00/mo "rent" for a years-old modem/router from the ISP when you can own your much newer, much improved unit for a very reasonable price.

Seems to be very good so far. Four stars because the range. Not quite as good as my old unit but still excellent inside the home. Signal is weak outside near the pool but does stay connected.

Needed to replace my Verizon wireless modem and did some research on dsl wireless modems and this modem got the best rattings. Got home and hooked it up. Set up was quick and easy. I'm not disappointed at all. This modem works great.

We've used netgear before & were very satisfied so when our AT&T modem died. We purchased a new Netgear modem after comparing what our needs are with other modems on the market.

I tried over 5 different routers/modems but for Century Link this one is the best so far, instead of buying the recommended one, spend $30 more and get something that will last.
