Solid router choice if you're not looking to spend a lot of cash and are stuck with few options due to your cable provider. Much better to buy this router than rent one.

Plenty of range. I would have gone 5 stars but I've had issues with longevity with prior routers of the same brand. If this one lasts over a year ID give it five stars.

If you have Centurylink DLS service this works perfect with them. Great device. Easy to install. We were up and running in less then a few minutes. I like the idea we can also connect our computers and share files.

I set it up and it was very easy and I have had no trouble with it at all. I have not even had to reset or turn it on and off since I turned it on. If it lasts like this for at least the designated warranty time then I will be mr than satisfied with this product.

Needed to replace modem that was compatible with ATT DSL, this was nicely prices and has performed to expectations

This product works and performs as required and it a good value for money. It is one of the best product you can get for this price range. Go for it.

Overall I am quite pleased with this router, having switched with my old DSL router AT&T gave me. It's not overly expensive, and can be used for DSL or Cable internet, providing the instructions are followed. It is Dual Band, which is great for multiple devices streaming/accessing the web. Definitely worth the investment, especially if you're still rocking standard DSL with the ISP router

This product helped me to downsize equipment. I have been using a modem from Verizon which was 15 yrs old along with a router. This product was easy to set up. It has more power than old equipment with less problems of being disconnected.

Was told this would help with speed. It did not. It works fine but does not work any better than what I had. I believe the fault lies with our Internet service. Wasted $100. I recommend it because it was fairly easy to install and works fine.

I have had the router/modem for a little over a month and have had no issues. The installation and device connections were easier than I expected.

Bought this for daughter's apartment @ college. Went up a grade to get a password protected guest account as well as the secure main account. Set-up was relatively easy, but I am pretty good at setting up electronics. Instructions were reasonable & easy enough to follow. Product has worked perfectly so far. Currently using laptop (for school use & Netflix), cell phone & wireless printer daily. Several friends at the same time can use without a problem.

I bought this router to replace an older router and my internet connection slow speeds and constant dropped signals disappeared. I did some research on routers prior to purchasing because I didn't want to get something that did more than I needed it to. It was the perfect price and does exactly what I need it to do. Love it! Sorry I didn't buy it sooner.

For a computer-challenged person, this router was easy to install. I ordered the wrong router without coaxial cable connector & brought it back to Best Buy. Salesperson showed me the right one & I'm very happy with the product now.

I am pleased with my modem, although the area where I have good wireless reception is relatively small. It does not always give me a strong signal.

It was easy to set up... My only down side is that it's range isn't as good as my old one... But the speed and bandwidth make up for that

So, had this router now for several years and used it to replace terrible equipment from AT&T. It was easy to install and get up and running and works well. It is a little hard at times to see the lights and what is working or not if your DSL goes out but it is reliable. Even disconnected for a little over a year after going to Comcast and relooked it up when needed again and worked like new. Recommend if you just need a router and your DSL provider doesn’t supply.

It is working great and was easy to set up. I am not a very tech savvy person but was able to get it up and running with no problems.

Setup was confusing; talked with Netgear rep and they must be located in a foreign country because had hard time understanding them. Eventually got installed but took pretty much all day. Info on box said was compatible with Windstream , but they refused to talk to me about internet problems when they learned we did not have their equipment.

I replaced my Verizon DSL modem/router with this hoping for some improvement and was shocked at what a major improvement it was. Before if I was watching Netflix, everybody would have to turn off the wi-fi on their devices to keep from bogging it down, now I can watch Hulu while my son watches Netflix and my wife scrolls through Facebook without a single bit of buffering. It's amazing what a simple hardware upgrade can do for the those of us forced to use DSL because it's the only thing "available in our area"

This modem works so well for the price! Easy to load and install and we haven’t had any issues. I did a lot of shopping around and item comparisons and this was what I decided on and I’m glad I did!
