We use this to extend our WiFi downstairs. It works okay, except it seems to drift when not used overnight. This requires signing on again for most the connections using the WiFi (phones, iPad, etc). This may be related to CenturyLink’s modem/router on the fiber optic connection.

I own two Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 (one at my office and one at my home) and I am VERY impressed with it's performance. Both locations use Comcast Hi-Speed (100Mbps), and because of the Nighthawk I am reaching speeds above 100Mbps OVER WI-FI (5G wi-fi only)! Amazing product and highly recommended. Please note that I am running a cable from my Comcast modem into the Nighthawk (shutting down my Comcast wi-fi), and using this as a wi-fi modem (not as a wi-fi extender).... This is the first WiFi unit (I have used) where the wi-fi speed being broadcast equals the wired speed coming in. VERY impressed.

Was having a problem with WiF connectionsi at different locations in my house and could not do work at home. This solved the problem. Faster, no lost connections, just much better operational.

Our WiFi was spotty towards the back of the house (WiFi router was on opposite side of home). This solved the problem instantly. Have connection out to the sidewalk and next door! Easy to setup!

This is a great product for extending your existing wifi network using mesh technology. Easy to set up and does the job as intended. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that I don't find it as good as my previous Netgear Nighthawk mesh extender that I owned (that unfortunately broke after a few years of use)

This Extender works great! I put this in my home theater, it didn't work well so I moved it in the middle of the basement, then it works great for all of my basement as it is for 5500SF home.

Needed wifi to reach all areas of the outdoor swimming pool. This product gets the job done.

Extender works well, was easy to hook up to my existing network and really allows us to get internet everywhere in the house including the basement. Great product at a reasonable price.

I have the Nighthawk AC1900 and the range was not great for when I was in my master bedroom across the house. After adding this extender I have awesome internet speeds throughout my entire house. I also set it up so my products like my iPhone just switch from router to range extender without me having to do anything. Would highly recommend for someone with a house over 2500 square feet or a house that is spread out.

I may have bought more than I needed, but I figured it wouldn't hurt. Set up was pretty simple, just had a minor little hiccup, but went back through the steps again, and resolved the problem (which was mostly my lack of knowledge of my Internet service). Connecting to my other devices, phone computer, tablet, and Blu-ray was as easy as searching the WiFi and entering the password. My computer now has double the signal, which was the main reason for this purchase.

I replaced an Amped Wireless range extender with this product and was pleasantly surprised at the ease of setup. The range of coverage actually exceeded my expectations. I even get a liitle wifi outdoors through my brick exterior. This product works for me. I have many wifi devices in my home. The price is fair.

The interface to try and make it more consumer friendly to set up is annoying. It is pretty reliable and decent range. Can be set as an AP only, which is a plus.

My wife needed a working VOIP phone connection so I purchased this Netgear range extender because I could not connect her directly to the cable modem 3 rooms away, works perfectly.

This product is fast and easy to add to your current network. No problems with the install and setup. Works great.

I had moved my router to an office I created in the basement and needed to extend the wifi. With Verizon Fios you can't switch the router. This worked very well.

I thought that this would be an upgrade over the EX6200, but it is plagued with some of the same issues as it, such as very frequent drops in connection with all lights flashing. Some wireless computers will refuse to connect to it, and if they do, they are unable to access the web due to issues obtaining the IP Address. This is the same issue I had with the EX6200 after updating the firmware in hopes that it's connection drops would end, but thankfully it can be downgraded. Unfortunately, this EX7000 uses the latest firmware type. It does however drop about 10% less frequently than the EX6200 and the range is slightly better. If you want less problems, the EX6200 (Version 1) is a better choice.

this extender has given more power to the second level of my home. Still sometimes devices still go off line even though I'm in the same room.

Easy to set up; strong connections to base wifi (FrontierFios) - immediately recognized higher resolution image when streaming high definition video to iPad over 5Ghz band. Great coverage! I included the other sources I reviewed. I actually bought the Apple product first but it didn't work as advertised. The Netgear exceeded my expectations.

This works great with my home wifi in my 100 year old home for my Ring security system. I had to reach out to my garage and firepit area which had zero wifi, now it shows 82%. It was a very simple plug and link up. Glad I made this purchase at my Florence, KY Best Buy. This store rocks!!!
