Though we needed to replace the router. Decided to get router and modem combo. It was the cable company problem not ours but decided to keep.

I bought this cable modem in addition to the matching extender for a full coverage mesh system in my home. No more dead spots. And easy to use app.

It was easy to set up( but had to call my internet provider before it would set up. The instructions made it sound like you called at the end.) It works great. We have quite a few devices and now it doesn't fade.

This thing is insanely fast. I have a good bit of smart home tech so I wanted something that could handle it all and wouldn’t be (hopefully) obsolete anytime too soon. Pricey, but a good investment so far.

No issues whatsoever, no internet lag, no timing out. Netgear has really good customer service as well!

It is worth the money. I have had connection issues in the past and had 2 Wi-Fi extenders. Now with this product I don’t need extenders anymore.

I should have brought this router years ago instead of renting Xfinity router for $25 a month. This router does everything that I need for it to do!

So far this Cable Modem/ Router from Netgear is working great. Like the Wi-FI 6 and DOCIS 3.1 latest tech. Set up wasn't to difficult. Not inexpensive but should future proof me for a few years.

He had this modem from day one going on 2 yrs. Stop using after year 1. It it is a beast when it’s working BUT as others have stated a power outage will leave it dead in the water. The ONLY solution to this (which others have not figured out) you must perform a factory reset and restore previous user settings. In other words upon setting up your device configure all settings then save the backup file. Depending on how thorough you are about knowing who and what devices are in your network you may find yourself updating this backup file periodically. When you encounter a power outage or any kind of abrupt surge that resets your device, you must factory reset and restore from the backup file! This solves all your problems!! For the price though, it’s not worth the hassle.

Bought this modem so I didn't have to pay the monthly fee to my cable provider. Works great and is fast!

There were negative reviews that made me think twice. I should've bought this a year ago. I had a 3.1 Netgear modem and eero setup. It was horrible. This is perfect. I live in a spacious apartment. The signal reaches everywhere. I stream movies & live TV, play video games, and work remotely with no lag with this Nighthawk. I also have two devices hard wired to the Nighthawk. Pricey but work it.
