Fantastic modem and router! Finally have something that all my smart home devices run smoothly with.

It’s good, not what I thought though. Good range but not 100 percent reliable

This device is great until you need to VPN using Cisco Connect to vpn into work. Then it just does not work. Reset upgraded firmware and deep dived into settings after some google-fu and still nothing having to return the device.

This is probably one of the routers that can't me the longest headache. Two- three hr set up with netfea netgear. My isp cleared Enright in their end but netgear had me on the phone for over 2 hrs trying to get it to work. Overall it is a good router but I do get drops from time to time. I wouldn't recommend unless you're hardcore gaming and have multiple devices connecting.

NetGear makes it very simple to setup using their app. Using this modem with mediacom's 1 gig internet service. So far, no issues and getting the wifi speeds and coverage needed.

I love this Netgear modem/router combo! It can handle all our devices and allows me to continue to work from home.

If you are just looking for a basic gateway that is easy to use, this is great. I was slightly disappointed that the most expensive gateway Netgear sells didn’t have more features like QoS. The nighthawk app is also pretty lackluster. I ended up returning and exchanging this for a CM1000 modem and XR-500 router.

Product was difficult to set up and ultimately work. After contacting cable of new modem, couldn’t get product to work. Had to phone India for support help. Comes with a separate app which adds to the confusion. After 1.5 hrs of support my wi fi finally worked.

This router and modem combo is great. It is insanely fast and it safes you money because now you won’t need to rent a modem from the cable company.

The installation was seem less. The Netgear tech support was awesome. The coverage over 3000 sq ft has been good.

It is worth the money. I have had connection issues in the past and had 2 Wi-Fi extenders. Now with this product I don’t need extenders anymore.

Does the job for xfinity internet. Very fast. I'm tempted to get the gigabyte internet plan just to find out how fast.

It worked very well when I first got the modem. And then started to act wonky. I don't feel the problem was with the modem at all. Netgear replaced it within a few days. I feel the issue is with Xfinity, not wanting anyone to use their own modem. They want to make you rent their modem.

Easy to set-up, although expensive. Replaced another Netgear Router and a Modem that Comcast would no longer support.

I have always used my own cable modem as I didn't trust the quality of what I was renting from the cable company. I bought this unit to be the heart of my internet and connected my Orbit mesh network to it for very robust connection anywhere on our property (the second unit is in the 'she shed'). This unit was straightforward to install for an established cable network line (mine was for our new home and confusion between 'accounts' was Xfinity's issue, not Netgear). Came right up and has run perfectly ever since.
