Love this Netgear Nighthawk! No more down time or reboot this router. It’s a little expensive but more reliable than the other routers I had.

When it is Working, It Isn't Bad

The web interface is buggy....I, in particular, had a problem when trying to assign static IP's to my devices. More importantly, I had on device the kept dropping its connection, so I exchanged it for another one...The second on just died. Years ago, I tried a Netgear modem and had absolutely no luck with it. It simply would not work. I recently tried again with this product. When it did work, I got decent wifi speeds - 500 to sometimes 600 mbps. But as mentioned, the web interface was buggy and I had 2 "die" on me. after the second one died, I moved on to an Arris modem with an Asus X89X router. This combo works great.

Upgraded from a netgear AC1750 combo bc wifi cuts out. Don't have wifi 6 devices yet but it does have 32/8 lanes which will help with congestion. I like the combined 2.4ghz and 5ghz toggle that switches you automatically. 4 stars bc laying it on its side doesn't seem right, maybe it was ment to stand up but there is no room for me.

Serup took quite a while. First a call to comcast, then one to Netgear. Comcast was a nightmare of course. Netgear was great. The modem has been running for a month with no problems. I use the web onterface and the app. Both are excellent, this modem was expensive and worth it. I scrapped the arris i had bought previously. This netgear is stable with great UI.

    Netgear Doesn't Disappoint

I expected this Netgear router and modem to work as well as my prior Netgear purchases, and it has met my expectations. I had to upgrade the router due to my xfinity service. I handed over the set up to my teenage son (he was highly motivated to get the stronger internet connection) and in no time we were connected to our high-speed internet!

While this review would normally be five stars, I unfortunately can't recommend this in good faith as this device failed on us within the first two years. One minute it was working fine, next morning I wake up and nothing can connect to mine in my roommate's internet, and Comcast doesn't have an outage. While it was active, however, it was not only able to support two gaming computers, two work laptops, a smart TV, both of our cell phones, a full network of security cameras, sensors, and even a remote 3d printer control suite! Shame It couldn't keep up.
