Top notch security by way of Netgear Armor, excellent range between bridging 2.4g & 5g together, super fast and easy setup. Currently use with Spectrum Gig internet paired with a Google Mesh system and the speeds are downright amazing. Easily the best purchase I’ve made this year. Do yourself a favor, don’t walk—RUN to your nearest BestBuy and snatch this sip before it’s all gone for Xmas!

I’m gonna review this product anyway, even though I don’t really need the 500 bucks but if you feel like you wanna send it to me great I have purchased this Nighthawk router before in the older versions and I love them. I love the app and I love the ability to go into the Web GUI and do the things that I need to do. It’s really slick. The speed is awesome. I replaced a Comcast X7 cable modem. That was slow as crap. Let me tell you I was extremely dissatisfied and I owned that modem out right. And to replace it would have meant to lease a new from Comcast. As you guessed buying A Nighthawk from Netgear was a no brainer. That said. The coverage is not as great as the older models I used. Speed does drop off faster than you’d think in a 1000 up 1000 down sq foot home. However this matters not to the causal user and non smart home owner. But I like to game and this could be problematic if I was not wired with Ethernet. Also I like my home smart. And being wired is not easy in most older home. However I have every room wired except to say most smart products are wireless. So anyone who game is going to be hard wired. Period! But for smart home users you’re going to need a great WIFI SIGNAL. PERIOD! As for the signal and speed drops at other end of the house is common experience for most modern WiFi users. My experience is 1.2gig by the modern with or without wired connections. And about 50-75gig WITHOUT extender at other side of my home. I don’t feel the need to complain about it much. Except to say I solved this problem by purchasing EAX15 extender from Netgear. And I Went from 75 down to about 300gig down and for some reason 40gig up which is about the same as being right by the Night hawk CAX80 As for needing the extender, I would guess the powers at Netgear intended me to fall headfirst right into this decision. Regardless of my WiFi needs. Because why create extenders at all. Right? In the end. This is high end purchase and I only do high end. Though it Would have been nice not have spent extra on an extender. But my house runs on a lot of WiFi 6 at 2.4ghz and 5ghz frequency. I.e., cameras, smart light, smart switches, smart blinds, smart doors, Alexa, media devices, phones and tablets. With 65 WiFi signal in all plus the wire stuff and the Netgear Night hawk CAX80 plus EAX15 extender handles them all extremely

The product is great. Customer service was horrible. I came to the Towson store expecting to trade in my old networking equipment and get 15% off a new router, in addition to using my rewards certificates. Salesperson told me advertisement was wrong and I could not trade in old equipment. He even asked 2 other people before I went through with the purchase. I went back to my car and found the advertisement and went back in to ask why they did not honor the trade-in when it clearly stated that my equipment was eligible. This time I was told that my salesperson was wrong & that yes, I could trade it in and get the 15% coupon. He voided the sale, applied the 15% coupon, rang me up again and then told me that unfortunately, I could no longer use the rewards certificates because I now had to wait 2 weeks for them to post back to my account. At this point I had already given them my old router and modem and had no choice but to keep the new one because otherwise I would have ended up with no router at all and I needed internet at home. This is not only ridiculous but simply unacceptable. The "customer service" employee actually told me that the salesperson "doesn't know about how to handle these trade-in deals". Sure would have been nice to know the before I dealt with the salesperson! I even specifically asked the salesperson if I needed to do the trade-in before purchasing the new equipment and he said no because they never do trade-ins on routers and told me I was wasting my time. Shoppers should be able to trust that the people working here know about all these things. The product itself works great though,

The NETGEAR Nighthawk CAX80 has been a fantastic upgrade for my home network. If you have a lot of devices and need reliable, high-speed internet, this is definitely the way to go. It handles everything I run from gaming, streaming, and working usage, without missing a beat. It’s a bit of an investment, but for me, it’s been totally worth it. It's a powerful modem/router combo that can handle heavy usage, I highly recommend it!

If you’re looking for a premium, top of the line router/cable modem combo this is the pinnacle. Easy to use app allows you to see all devices on your network and setup is incredibly simple. Also, allows the signal coming in from my ISP to exceed the expected speeds as I have a gig-speed service, but my speeds are higher than that at ~1400 Mbps. Coverage is better than advertised on wireless connections.

I'll be the 1st to say I always bought my equipment. A separate modem and wireless router always. I recently sold my home and moved into an apt, so I decided to save some $ and purchase an all in one modem/wireless router. Ive used netgear nighthawk, arrius and keep coming back to netgear. This product works excellent, plenty of range from down 3 floors to out in the parking lot, so ofcourse my apt is fine coverage wise. I wanted to get a mesh system but thought maybe once I'm in a larger space. So for the money, performance, etc, this is the product to buy. It's AX wifi 6 tech, 3.1 so you're set for a good while. Also super easy to setup as things should be in these times along with monitoring your network.

Didn't want to deal with separate modem and router, and needed a newer one that was fast. This was the best thing out at the time. After hooking it up, no problems. With the Nighthawk app, it guides you throughout the whole process which takes about 15 min. Covers my 2 story 1600 sqft house well. Can stream downstairs to my smart tv with no difficulty. Only drawback was price. If you can find a fast modem and router separately, that would prob be the only other thing I'd consider.

I was looking for a replacement router/modem that would broadcast a stronger signal in my house and pick up more speed in downloading and general operation. The NETGEAR - Nighthawk AX6000 checked all of my boxes! I'm very pleased and would have no problem recommending this model to my friends & others.

I’ve been using the NETGEAR Nighthawk CAX80 for a while now, and it has performed flawlessly. The setup was quick and straightforward, and the connection is strong and consistent throughout the house. The WiFi 6 technology makes a noticeable difference in speed and stability, especially when multiple devices are connected. I appreciate having the modem and router in one unit — it saves space and reduces cable clutter. Streaming, video calls, and gaming all run smoothly with no dropouts. The design is sleek and modern, and the Nighthawk app makes it easy to monitor and manage the network. The only thing I would mention is that it’s a bit on the pricey side, but considering the performance and reliability, I think it’s worth it.

So far so good with the AX6000! We had an AC1900 for some time and it was a work horse, but with recent updates/upgrades to our plan with XFinity, it was time to make a change. The price tag is a little hefty at first glance, but it has an easy set up, runs well, and is perfect for our smart home devices as well as the days when both my wife and I are working from home. No more disconnections or buffering issues when we have a ton of things going at once! Definitely check this out if you’re in the market to own your own device!!!

I want to give a honest review giving this product a 3 star. This device is when is working is very phenomenal. In the past few months that I have own the nighthawk X6000 the coverage and speed is very impressive for I have 1gb internet. Less to say that this is my 2nd device upon the first month of having the cable modem my local internet provider had an internet outage and it fried the modem. I spent all day trying to get it to connect back to my internet provider and it was no success called support and they were back up and ended up with no help. Even called Comcast to ran multiple reset signals and still nothing. I ended up having to use my warranty to replace it for my 2nd device. Recently my internet provider had another outage and man what a mess. To gain access into the modem you'll need a smartphone which is nice. But having no connection with the modem is very tedious. Finally after hours of attempting to connect from the app, I'm able to reconnect the modem into my internet provider. Having to say spending top dollar on a cable modem shouldn't have so must frustration just to get it back into the internet. I'm not trying to blame the product for when having an outage issue but reconnecting this device into my internet provider is such a hassle.

This modem is nice. I really like it. My xfinity plan has speeds up to 1,200mbps and my old router would only push to 350. 400 on a good day. This modem is pushing 480-600mbps which is faster than my older one but I’ve yet to see it hit 1,000. Xfinity recommended this modem to support my speeds but I’m not seeing the full speed. Other than that it’s fast, the app is straight forward easy to use. One advice I’d like to give y’all is; when you buy this and activate it with your wifi carrier. They’ll do a test run to make sure the internet is working. If they tell you, it’s not working or the internet isn’t going through, JUST WAIT. I was upset too. I thought I wasted money but no, once it’s activated by whoever you got. You have to Download the app and finish the set up there by making an account. Pretty easy but I had to figure it out myself so hopefully this saves someone else the trouble.

Needed to beef up the MPBs for my gf and I to handle constant video calls each day. After getting a speed increase from our provider I did some research on new routers. ran through several YouTube reviews and settled on this bad boy. router is slight overkill for the two of us, but wow am I happy with the performance. The LED indicators for the ethernet ports and for both bands of wifi are color coded to show signal strength. Orange is decent, white is fast. So you can visually see if there are dips in speed just be looking at the router. Kinda makes me wish we needed a 1TB speed to see what this router can do.

My previous router was outdated and not able to handle the gig speeds xfinity was giving me. After the quick and easy install/setup I immediately saw my speeds increase. I have never been more satisfied with a large purchase than I am with this. My entire house is now covered and the Netgear app is hassle free as well. MUST BUT.

Purchased this modem as I took a basic cybersecurity class to find out my xfinity modem was failing a scan because it would respond to a ping. I also wanted all my devices like Ring doorbell, petcube, phones and tv’s to be behind a vpn so this Modem/router combo does this and passes the vulnerability scan. It’s a winner!

I have owned a netgear modem few years ago, the cable company wanted to start charging for their modem so i got myself the CAX80. I had to call the cable company for part of the setup, it took around 3 hrs in all, so not the quickest for me. Its been running for a few days now, speedtest results are off the charts amazing, beyond my expectations . The range is much better than earlier modems , i have ever owned. Everything works well with this router, my garage door opener didnt remain connected so i added an old wifi range extender in the garage , and that seems to be working good now. Overall after everything has been setup, its stable and i am pleased with my purchase, totally recommend it to everyone!
