    We recently purchased this because we didn't want to pay to rent through our cable company. We did our research and it was between this and another product. We went to Best Buy and told them exactly what we needs were and what products we were interested in and they recommended the Netgear Nighthawk and we have not had any problems. Highly recommend.

    I use this product as a Modem and router to replace the modem provided by Spectrum Internet Service Provider. I use this for Internet only and not sure what the setup would be if Cable TV was added to my service. Again, a great upgraded Cable Modem and Router for Spectrum Internet Service only.

    I liked it but did return it. Where I live I have power outages and the router always reset to the factory settings so my network password couldn’t be customized. If I set my own the router reset and nothing I had connected would recognize the system especially my cameras and alarm system.

    By B Murphy I recently upgraded my old netgear modem / router to the new Nighthawk CAX80. We usually have about 13 devices running in our house 5 of them are 4 K TV's which we stream on all of them, and a playstation for online gaming. This unit runs them all at the same time with know problems. Worth the money.
