Wifi signal is quite effective and powerful. My home is nearly 4000 sq.ft. and the signal reaches clearly every nook and corner of my home. So far quite happy with the modern/ router experience. Netgear rocks with this premium range product and offers great value for money

After 6 days of frustration, anger, disappointment, etc I will probably give up and return this unit. Installation was not seamless but not overly difficult. The problem is that I am unable to daily update my Trend Micro security suite. Tried a multitude of possible solutions without success. My laptops are ethernet cable connected to unit. WiFi has worked and the range is very good, fast.

Best router/modem combo so far. BB customer service and manager are awesome.

Amazing modem router. This combo works the Mediacom and in my opinion it is the best modem router combo money can buy that supports Mediacom. Haven’t had any issues whatsoever with lag or disconnections. With my current plan, it honestly is overkill but when you buy a modem router like this you are future proofing your network setup for some time.

great modem router good for streaming online games watching movies and shows

I had the same problem as most of these other negative reviews. For such an expensive set up it did not last much longer than the warranty. This is my first an only review, just thought it would be good to warn others. The expensive Best Buy protection plan is worthless and does not protect you from this. Never saw close to the speeds it says it should get and had connection issues like a lot of these other negative reviews.

I purchased this router because I up graded my internet to 1 gig. My old modem was not compatible with the upgrade. Once it was connected and setup I tested it by watching live TV on my iPad. I was able to watch TV with no issues from 2 houses away.

I would have thought for the money I paid for this thing that it would have been a much better upgrade from my 6 year NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900, C7000 DOCIS 3.0 Cable Modem Router. There's not much difference. It's supposed to cover larger area than my previous router but it does not. I am going to keep it only because It's the newest technology and is time to upgrade. Also I hope firmware updates will resolve the issues it has with Wi-Fi. Ethernet ports all work very well but the Wi-Fi 6 is not the consistent.

Solid signal for WiFi. I don't even need extenders. I definitely will say, to take full advantage of it pushing 1GB+ out it, make sure you get yourself an better ethernet cable, else you will being doing yourselves a disservice with this as your modem/router. Would definitely recommend! Definitely works great with a smart home!
