    Yes, it works with WOW internet but not worth it…

    For some time, I was doing a lot of research whether or not this modem router combo worked with WOW internet and I kept on finding reviews where a lot of people said that it once worked just fine with WOW but around the end of 2021 it stopped working due to an update from WOW. I then couldn’t find any updated review whether that issue had been fixed or not so I just took a shot.. long story short: Yes, as of June 2023, it works with WOW internet BUT FIRST you need to update the modem to the latest software version via the netgear nighthawk app. After the modem has been updated, you then need to call WOW and give them the MAC address of the modem and tell them to activate this new modem router. It should work fine by then, at least it did for me. However, I was not getting the promised speeds. I pay for the 1.2gig speed from WOW and I was barely getting 500mbps connected wired via Ethernet.. I tested each Ethernet port and all of them were giving the same speeds, no more than 500mbps… via wifi is around 220mbps.. and this is suppose to be one of the top-notch modem routers out there right now? WOW said that the issue was with the modem.. Netgear says the issue is with the ISP, WOW in my case.. Too much back and forth, I decided to return this modem as, in my case specifically, it’s not worth paying $500 and not be able to use this at its full capacity. I CANNOT recommend if your ISP is WOW, however, I’m sure it works better with xfinity or spectrum or a more well known ISP. Unfortunately, in my area, my only option is WOW and Mediacom (which requires a contract that I do not like, reason why I chose WOW).

    Wake quality stretches through the whole house and then some by Wi-Fi 6 is amazing only problem is hard to get up with Spectrum I don't know if it's brand new or what but it took multiple people and multiple phone calls before they can find it

    Ok for xfinity, but really bought this to hook up to my Fios network and it isn’t compatible even though I was told it is.

    Sufficiently provides a solid connection for both my wife and I while we work at home and all the kids when they are gaming or using any streaming service. Def recommend

    The modem/router is good it does give you a better service than the stock devices, but after 2 months 5G band is not working properly (IDKW). The less cables more freedom one of the reasons I bought it.

    Great modem , replaced an aging arris with telephony that had outlived its usefullness. If you have xfinity and voip phone as part of a package, this is the one to get.

    Easy to install and connect. Haven't really noticed a change in uploading on my iPad and iPhone. Streaming is a breeze on all my firesticks. Got a great deal on it because Best Buy price matched the Netgear site

    Oddly enough we bought this by accident but are very happy we did so! We returned the unit from our cable company that we had been paying for monthly & now have an all in one that we can use, that increased our wifi speed and is ours. Definitely recommend.

    This router/cable modem does everything you need and more! Only problem, if youre an optimum/Cablevision customer, you CANNOT use this device (looks like they only use ARRIS brand)

    Works great for live streaming and online gaming. The downloadable application is helpful for controlling your home or office network. It’s nice to plug in one device instead of two. This device also allowed me to upgrade to Spectrum 1G.

    This modem is slower than our old Netgear. We upgraded to the best thinking things would work better but we were completely wrong. We've spent a ridiculous amount of hours talking to xfinity over the last 5 weeks since we purchased this modem but it only seems to get worse with constant buffering and several hours daily without internet even though there are no outages. Netgear used to be a trusted, reliable company but this modem is total junk.

    It does everything you need it to do. I see the WiFi signal dip every once in a while but interference is normal when you are in a city.

    Used this system to replace a setup fried by nearby lightning strike. Easy to setup with Orbi 4200 mesh system. works great.

    Had a huge issue with spectrum router. Switched to netgear and it solved my problem instantly. Literally was back and fourth for 4 months dealing with spectrum. Don’t do that, save yourself the monthly rental cost and invest in this.

    Way better than Cox junk. Well atleast I know why they call um Cox. I'd definitely recommend this nighthawk cable modem. I'd recommend the entire nighthawk ensemble, router and network extender they all work perfect together.

    Good system - Bad warranty replacement

    Great system when it worked. Purchased DEC 2021, completely died on June 2022. Had a dedicated fan to keep it cool. Worked like a champ until it simply went out.. Still under 1 yr warranty, but outside of their 90 day premium Phone Support. So everything I do must be through the website. *BE ADVISED* - if you do not respond to their emails or upload new data, they will close your case within 7 days. I went out of town and came to back to find a final email- 'we agree it should be replaced, pls send in picture of Serial# (had that on day1) and purchase receipt (sent that on day 10). I missed the 7 day deadline and found it closed.. Had to call in and get a new Case # opened. It is now July 23rd and Netgear is just now agreeing to send me a replacement. But wait ! they have none in stock so I have to wait now... how long will this take now?
