I never realized how the nighthawk has a combination that's worth purchasing it.

Didnt even last 6 months. Im pretty upset that a unit that costs so much didnt even last 1 year. I would not recommend this product. It just died without warning at 2am and the app was saying its the coax cable. So i dug out my older unit that we ran for several years and it too is a netgear combo modem/router and it still works. Quality has gone way downhill from previous models. Really disappointed. Was working fine, then all lights went out except power indicator. Tried unplugging to reset, tried factory reset, doesn't do anything. Total crap. It was fine for the last 5 months, but now just a $500 paperweight. Range was mediocre at best in our small 2 story 960 sq ft house, had to use a range extender to get the signal to the master bedroom upstairs. Set up was so so. Overall would def NOT recommend for price point for lifespan. Never pushed full speeds no matter what specifications were set too. Just crap.

I had a 3 year old Netgear CM1000 modem and an ASUS AC3100 router. I was getting pretty decent speeds with my Cox gigablast - 950 or so wired and 400ish on 5G but I thought I should be getting more since I was paying for 1000. This modem/router looked like it could accomplish that. It didn’t. I actually got slower speeds. And because of the setup I have I had to place it close to my LG SN11nrg sound bar and that messed up the connection to the rear speakers (known issue). I’m returning this. Already reverted back to my old setup and enjoying the speeds that I once thought were slow along with Dolby Atmos surround sound. On the plus side I was very pleasantly surprised with Cox cable’s customer service. They were able to get this modem online quickly and also helped me revert back to my old one quickly as well. PS: The setup was incredibly simple so any reviews saying otherwise must be written by people who are technically challenged or had a bad experience with their cable company.

I want to give a good review, but this thing died on me in month 14, past the warranty. And I confirmed it’s dead, it’s not the service provider. Can’t even log into it with a direct cable. When I first got it, it blocked my company VPN and it actually required the NETGEAR helpful to write me my own beta firmware update to resolve. That took two months, but kudos to them for figuring it out. But beyond the warranty and free support periods all I have now is an expensive brick. I hope this doesn’t happen to you. It worked great before it broke.

Purchased modem to replace rental from Xfinity. I have 600 Mb account and it works fine. Easy to install and connect.

Wi-Fi range and connection is awesome. No more lagging from my kids playing video games or movies from their devices.

So far so good, many devices streaming and gaming.

I had a different modem that I had purchased and it needed restarted every day. Netgear has made a quality product that dishes speed to my needy household of users. Highly recommend.

This is probably the best all in one network hardware I have used. Never had any issues with it; no disconnects, failures, etc.

Easy to install customer service was great so impressed purchased the warranty.

No dropped signals. So far so good. Was pricey but hoping it lasts

Bought this Modem/Router for the great reviews, but I was very disappointed after install. My previous xfinity modem was getting speeds of over 400mbps on wifi. Installed this netgear nighthawk ax6000 and after 2 days of calling and adjusting settings the best speed was 105mbps. 5g kept dropping every 2 minutes and you couldn't reconnect to it. The app used to install this needs a lot of work, it kept asking me to log in every 30 seconds. At the end I ended up calling Xfinity back to continue leasing the modem, and to my surprise they upgraded my speed and modem at no extra cost, now my Wifi speeds are over 600mbps. I returned the nighthawk to Bestbuy.

So far so good. The installation was very easy. Just had to plug it, download the app, follow the instructions and call my internet service provider.

I usually purchase Netgear for my internet needs. This one works great just like the others I've had. Good router.

Not sure if it's my router or my internet but not getting the speeds I'm paying for.

Netgear nighthawk product line is always great. This hardware is bo different if you have cox and want to save and have a better wifi and all around better internet connection us this

Good product on it's own but when combined with a powerful router can't be beat.
