    Had to return and get the Motorola equivalent. This device kept dropping my Internet connection every few minutes. Xfinity scanned the lines and found no issues, it also refused to stay connected via the 2.5ghz port to my desktop, constantly dropping and reconnecting at 1ghz. When it did work the WiFi connection was good, better than the Motorola. But for $500 the quality is just not there.

    So far so good, much better than the spectrum equipment, now my speeds are much faster and I get what I’ve been paying for.

    I had my doubts of using my own equipment because I’ve always rented but netgear has completely changed my mind this modem/router is a monster! Worth the buy!

    I use Xfinity's GigaByte Their best WiFi but could not utilizes it potential now it can.

    There are no dead zones in my condo any more, the internet remains fast even with two gaming computers and two streaming devices going at once, and is a solid upgrade from the modem from the ISP! Kudos to their customer support when I needed some assistance setting up.

    Had trouble with printing to wi-fi printer from lan based side. Tech support was difficult as you have to repeat and repeat the problem and reset and reboot and reset it each time you called. -1 star for wifi-lan issue -1 star for too many levels of tech support to get real tech support.

    100% recommend this modem. no current issues with this modem as i had various issues with different modems. no random shut offs or no troubleshoots on my end.

    Setup is easy, however it does not have the coverage it claims to give. Frequently losses the signal which causes long delays in media being used. I don’t recommend this, and will not buy this brand again. I did have an issue that I had to contact Netgear about and their customer service is terrible.

    As long as you don’t have Fios, this thing is awesome! Connection when gaming online seems unstoppable now. I am hardwired now.
