    Easy set with Cox. Fast and great connection. Just get it and also get the best buy warranty. It just the best modem/ router. I have 18 connected devices and also gaming with no issues

    Horrible service from Net Gear. Over four hours on hold daily. Never fixed connection issue. Do not buy.

    Did not even last 2 years. When working it wasn't very stable as well. Devices were getting disconnected randomly. One morning, all of a sudden the device got bricked and since it was out of their ridiculously short 1 year warranty they refuse to do anything. These devices are defective. Search Netgear community forums for CAX80 and you can see lots of complaints. Unfortunately, this company only offers a 1 year warranty and they can get away with selling defective products for 400 dollars and do absolutely nothing once the device gets bricked. You cannot reach their customer service. You are directed to their community pages to get help from other users. Once you reach their support, their people are arrogant and talking to you as if they are doing a favor to you for even responding to you. If you value your money I suggest you to go with another brand and stay away from Netgear. You'l save yourself a lot of stress.

    I bought the CAX 80 based on its reviews and in hopes of saving money on renting a modem from Xfinity. The set up did not go simply; I was on the phone with Netgear tech support for an hour and a half getting that accomplished. Less than six months later, my wifi went out and the tech who was trying to help over the phone concluded there had been a hardware failure. Waiting on my replacement now. Not impressed.

    I bought this to replace the rental box and was extremely happy at first. It gradually declined in functionality until it completely stopped working only 1.5 years later. Save your money. I had a cheap Linksys that worked for ten years and this "top of the line" junk worked well when it was new. That's it.
