Internet Unstable

ISP has been on site multiple time troubleshooting. They found a repaired some issue including running all new lines. I can just about eliminate the ISP as part of the problem. This is my 4th nighthawk product and I have been having issues with all of them over the years. I think I am going to go back to the ISP equipment. After doing much reading online, this seem to be a very common problem with these devices.

TRASH DO NOT BUY!!!!!

FIrst one lasting me about 2 years thinking matbe i just got a bad one, so i bought the same one to replace the firat one, and a little over a year the darn thing stopped working all together same as the first one just restarting itself in a loop for 500 bucks each. You would expect them to last much longer. I spent 1000 dollars for the 2, for them not to even last 2 years each, stay away you have been warned.

Horrible Service Modem would not stay connected

Worst Netgear Modem Router I had

A few months later, I had to replace it. After a power outage (device is on a USV, no power surge), it lost its WiFi functionality. Even a reset didn't help. The device is designed to be setup with the Nighthawk app - if WiFi isn't available, you're stuck. You can access it via a browser if you know how but it requires an internet connection to authenticate with the Netgear login. I have a Wi-Fi 6 repeater from Netgear too but gave up using it because there's no proper handshake between the devices and thus video calls break up. Now, with the second device there was a recent power outage and again the same issue. I had to reset the device but was now able to get back in and set it up. However, there're issues with my Wi-Fi connection ever since. I hoped for a premium device for this price but got disappointed.

Just get it and also get the best buy warranty. It just the best modem/ router. I have 18 connected devices and also gaming with no issues
