    It was great when my plan was 500...now that I got a gig plan...it wont get above 650 wired yhernet,no matter what. Wifi is almost 1100. I have done everything..tweaked settings, factory resets...annoying.

    to many issues with this cable modem. daily it would disconnect from the internet i would have to restart it and it would pick up again. but this happened daily. and the customer service was not of any help at all

    I Think this made it pretty clear that my Internet was bad but the way it worked rebooting over and over which dropped not just the cable modem part but also the wifi just tells me it’s better to have separate wifi and cable modems.

    Nicely built solid, wired connection works like a charm. The wifi is horrible, on various internet connection speed test the wifi range from 10mb up to 35mb nothing higher. My old slow modem-router reached connections up to 200mb on the wifi, but slow on the wired.

    This thing is junk. Keeps disconnecting. 3rd one I've tried. 1st one ethernet ports were defective and last 2 it keeps disconnecting. Taking back

    Range is not as great as you would think it is. Very similar performance to the ones they give you at comcast/cox.

    Meh. Tried to improve wifi throughout my home. Bought this after just an extender of same brand didn't help. Not a fan. Ended up going back to the cable company's router as it was actually much stronger than this. Super bummed.

    I honestly think it slow are internet down. I think Comcast Modem is better i thought reading PC magazine and buying a top notch expensive modem would be better so far failure..

    Got this router to go with spectrum. My internet has been having issues, it is to early to tel if this is any good.

    The Netgear engineers really need to get their collective heads out of their ###. In 2024 this should be EASY to install and use. I would give a zero if possible. It decided to go back to semi original settings after set up and now I can't get in.

    This modem is straight garbage! I have a Gig connection with xfinity and i use their modem. I wanted to get away from the extra monthly charge so i thought id give this modem a try. With my xfinity modem i am consistently getting around 800mbps download and thats wireless. With this modem the MOST i was able to get was 15mbps download and that was hard wired into the modem. Wireless was even worse with me getting around 3mbps download. Stay away from this modem!

    Like others, it’s bricked after a power outage

    I spent so much money on this a few months ago and lost power last week. Since then, it will not work. The only thing that pops up is the power light. I’ve done everything (EVERYTHING) including having Xfinity double check my lines. Nothing. This is an issue for so many people according to recent reviews and forms online. Save your money!

    Wifi is broke.

    The wifi is so bad, sometimes it is connected and sometimes not, now i have to call netgear for some help bc in bestbuy don't get back this item after 2 week.

    It died after 7 months. Returning! Prior to that, it would stall or sputter. Bought it for streaming. Worked ok with wired LAN line, but WiFi was not consistent.

    Nothing but headaches and constant phone calls with netgear support for 2 days. I can't upload at 5mhz, only 2.4mhz. And graphic intense pages don't open correctly. I had to hit reload 3x to get this page. ZERO stars. This will be going back to the store in the morning. (My apple products are fine, the problem seems to be pc products)

    I had high hopes for this Cable Modem Router combo; unfortunately it didn't work right out of the box. Two of the Gig ports never worked, signal kept dropping (although it was great when it worked), which made my devices lag even in 5GHZ. I honestly think I received a lemon, because I've never had issues with any of NETGEAR products. I returned it and got another combo cable modem router, Nighthawk AC3200 C7800. Although I'm tempted to repurchase the Nighthawk AX6000 to see if it was a one off lemon that I received as I stated before.

    Worthless piece of junk… WiFi radio completely failed in unit… will not connect. Before this failure the unit always required powering down to get it to work again, not this time… Spend your money elsewhere. This thing was almost 500 dollars when I bought it. Plus I have the extender… another waste of 250 dollars… I will never buy another Netgear product.
