This doesn’t extend to the whole house. It stated that it would meet the square footage of house but it does not. Very disappointed that I now have to get pods to pick up wi-fi all over the house.

Unreliable. Total garbage and not ready for public release. There are so many issues I don't even know where to begin. I have been dealing with Netgear Tech support since the day I bought this thing and they have even sent me a replacement that has the same issues. Buyer beware!

Pay attention to the warranty (or lack thereof). You get 1 year hardware, and 90 days of "support". However if between 91 days and 1 year your hardware fails (mine failed at 94 days), they would not honor the warranty unless I paid for an additional support plan.

Modem is garbage. My internet services were perfect with the Xfinity XB7 modem and decided to save money from rental fees. Nothing but troubles with this modem. Netgear in general is garbage. Will not buy from them again. I’m an experienced high speed internet tech for 25 years. HFC

Not Express VPN compatible

Advertised as having VPN support but fails to mention that you are unable to pick a VPN of your own choice like the Express VPN that I wanted to install. On top of the hours long wait on hold for support I am totally done with Netgear as I also did not notice any improvement over the old 1900 Nighthawk I replaced this with either. Back it goes for a credit towards another brand.

Doesn’t even come close to the area it says it covers.. constant issues with many apps after getting this router even sitting directly next to it I have issues.. can’t get a support person after 90 days without paying a premium subscription even when the warranty is 1 year.. do not buy

GARBAGE. Completely dead and less than 1 year old. The Nighthawk App is a joke and won't connect. For $499, this unit was a complete waste of money. I will NOT be buying another unit, and critically lost a days worth of teams meetings due to its complete failure. I relied on this for a business, not anymore.

I purchased this combo modem/wifi, which did not work for my house. I have older models of Nest cameras, and they kept going offline every minute. At first, I thought it was the cameras, but when I completely changed the modem, it fixed the problem. I purchased the modem only and wifi mesh from ASUS ZEN.

STAY AWAY! As someone who USED to prefer using only NETGEAR products, I am disappointed with this 400 dollar paperweight. after wasting 4 hours messing with it, it drops all connections every 15 minutes, and has to be hard reset. Go to net gears support forums for this and see for yourself, this is a common problem.

I purchased this router in April of 2021, last night it stopped working. Powers on but will not connect to internet. Reached out to Netgear and Bestbuy and was told the manufacturer warranty is for one year only. So $460 of my hard earned money down the drain.

Liked it a lot... until the modem half broke. 1 year of constant use. Not moved. Not really physically touched for a year except dusting. Modem broke, but wireless was still functioning. Manufacturer issue. Best buy replaced it... it was a little trouble. I bought the insurance so i have another one which i am reluctant to setup again... =(

I'm strongly suggesting, do not buy this product. It is not blocking any website - specifically for kids. I'm going to return this now.
I was using 12+ years old modem and router from Comcast - ARRIS was easily manage all these site block and parent control.

Always something. I bought this as a gamer and heavy streamer. Had to turn off the auto switching. Takes forever to reboot. Terrible coverage. I have a single floor home and it’s terrible. Speed is inconsistent. Bought due to “gamer” WiFi. But you better plug in or you disconnect

Was great while it was working. Had device for less than 2 years and it just up and died one night. Attempted troubleshooting and it seems to be bricked. With the price of a router like this i cannot recommend this. The one year warranty is way to short and this seems to be a potential bigger issue than what is being let on.
