This thing is AWESOME! Really fast internet. Excellent range. I can use my internet anywhere-in my yard, patio, and garage.

This device works great both wirelessly and wired. We have 4+ mobile devices + 4 telecommuting users + 4K 100% steaming TV. There is never a bottleneck in our home. I cannot speak to the 802.11ad band because I don't have any devices that use that band. This router connects directly to my NAS with a fiber channel (SFP+). This is required for working with large video and image files directly on the NAS. I use the link aggregation on my iMac to the router (Ethernet + Thunderbolt to Ethernet Adapter). This increase transfer rate between my iMac and my NAS. There is no lag between opening and saving files on my NAS this way. This router saved me from having to buy an enterprise level switch and/or router to edit files on my NAS. The alternative is to copy the files to my local computer, edit them and then copy them back to the NAS. This saves me so much time and an extra layer of file management. NOTE: If you are buying this for the fiber channel please make sure you have a device that supports SFP+ or you are wasting your money. The router DOES NOT come with the fiber SFP+ cable. Best Buy didn't sell it at the time of purchase. 4 stars because of not having the cable and it was a pain searching for one. NOTE: The NETGEAR EAX20 (AX1800) Wi-Fi Range Extender works flawlessly as a mesh extender to this router.

Really fast and really easy to set up. I do not have any problems connecting to WiFi anywhere in my house anymore

I have fiber internet, and I was using a 3 year old google on hub router, I felt like I wasnt getting the full gigabit speeds that I was promised, so I purchased this router. Its super fast, I am a cord cutter so I stream my tv and do my homework, all through wifi, most of the time we have at least 4 devices streaming and this router has only stumbled once or twice. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a router to handle maximum speeds.

Fastest router money can buy. Case closed. Reaches very far and makes my fiber about 300mbps over WiFi.

Hands down, the best router I've ever owned. I work in IT, and this thing blows the doors off of Cisco routers costing $2k each. It handles multiple 4K streams and several online gamers with streaming, all without breaking a sweat. The range and beam forming (targeted long range focused signal to your phone, laptop, etc) are second to none. This thing still connects when I'm several houses away... I cannot say enough. Just WOW!

Spoke to many before this somewhat expensive purchase for a router. Easy to install and set up-- even with port forwarding for my particular purposes. Don't seem to get the wifi coverage it promises though. I have a an access point in one part of the house to pick up the slack and am thinking about getting a mesh three point extender. I was hoping the range would pick up the entire house but it doesn't. Good system though.

This router is very powerful and fast. It is in my basement and I have coverage in my entire house.

Had internet issues, was kicking all my devices off. Old router ended up being the issue. Added NETGEAR - Nighthawk X10 Wireless-AD7200 to my network, no more issues and very fast! Love the speed!

I purchased this along with the Netgear AC1600 Cable Modem for a complete high end package. This works extremely well together as I am able to stream AV and data at the max of my Time Warner Account limits. The router has exceeded expectations. I have not done a lot of customization with the router (no DMZ, Port forwarding, or other features). Thus, I can't comment on anything other than its data streaming capability from anywhere inside a 2800 sqft house. Its fast!

My internet has been garbage despite having a fiber line coming into my apartment since I moved in until.... I bought this beaust of router!!! Now I don’t have any issues! I’m speechless at how much this router has improved my streaming and gaming experience!!!! Woooo!!!! Pulling it out of the box you can instantly tell it’s high quality the thing looks like. Freaking space ship lol. But don’t scrimp it’s pricey but worth it.
