Customers praise the Nighthawk X10 AD7200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router for its impressive range, strong performance, and ease of setup, resulting in excellent coverage and signal strength, great for streaming and other demanding applications. However, some customers note that the router is expensive and large, and a few have experienced issues with the firmware. Despite these drawbacks, many users find the improved speed and reliability worthwhile.

This router is great for using network attached storage systems. Even if you don’t use a the 10gb connection, you can still use port aggregation (if your NAS supports it).

What can I say...Netgear has a good router here that I have not used all of the advanced features with yet, but, it was easy to setup and update to replace my 3 year old router and works better. 2GHz, 5GHz work well for distance and speed respectively. I look forward to using the 60GHz signal and VPN in the near future. Unfortunately some of the features like PLEX are not free for full featured use.

We bought this to replace a “slower” version that quit working just a few months ago. I’m never very technical, but my husband seems pleased with his choice.
So far so good.

I live in an older duplex home, with insulated walls that make running ethernet cable almost impossible. I needed to get better signal to my repeater which is located on the second floor at the opposite side of the house. This router does the job. IT is also very stable. My previous router, a Netgear R7000p, would often lose connection and have to be rebooted. Not this one. Good solid performance.

I went into the store to buy a different model. My son who is techy smart told me to get this one. As I was browsing the different routers the Sales girl saw me and we struck up a convo. She also recommended this router. She showed me the Google wireless router, now I was really confused. Eventually after a lengthy discussion with my 17 year old son. I caved in. I'm extremely happy because it's the best decision I've ever made.

I was under the impression this would give me a strong wifi signal to the deepest parts of the property. Unfortunately it didn't extend as far as I needed but still overall a good signal that covered about two thirds of what I needed. I ended up taking it back and buying a Netgear extender and using the Netgear 1900, that gave me the signal I needed. This just was not strong enough for the price.
