The new band of WiFi has almost no range and no clients, and the software is the same as all the models in the range - sluggish and with limited control. Also notable is the continued limited and buggy QOS. Other routers at this price point offer things like virus protection and gaming options that are more useful. It behaves fine but at this price it should tell you your name if you forget it.

I had bought this router because of the plex server option I find out it doesn't really work with multiple drives when it comes to a 4bay enclosure.also there's another option doesn't work well also but it escapes me.i had gotten this router for $500 which is a good price.it is powerful and does increase by Wi-Fi by 5 fold.but would have been nice if all the features worked to its billing before I bought it.

Very expensive but has worked well so far. Has helped to fix my streaming video that always liked to pause and buff every 20 minutes.

All in all it's a great product and well worth the money. Definitely an upgrade from your standard router.

I really wanted to like this router but it didn't deliver better coverage than my 2 year old router. It has nice features and introduces the latest in bands but there isn't anything out there that supports it. It also has a ridiculously small range on the newest band. This product offers a new technology but it doesn't do it well or at least not well enough. Wait to upgrade.

Have it at Lake and has range from cabin to bunk house and dock. Supports tons of devices easily

Have over 15 devices on this thing and it performs beautifully. UI is very user friendly. You won’t be disappointed

Great router. I have Gig internet at my house and on the 5G Wi-Fi, you’ll get a solid 700mbps from 10 feet away. 400-500 from different level, 30 ft away. The new Wi-Fi mode is useless since there’s no devices that can work on it. I returned this for the new Netgear AX8 since it has the new Wi-Fi 6. The speeds are faster on Wi-Fi and distance is stronger.

Works great. If set up correctly, there is no disadvantage to a wired connection in an office environment.

Since we installed our X10 wireless router we haven't had any dropoffs like we had with our old router. A definite recommend!.

Reach's everywhere in my 2300 sq ft home. Even goes out in the yard and across the street.

My challenge is that my home is built with something that seems to block internet. My office is in the front of the home and my deck is in the rear on the other end of the home. I have tried a few routers and wifi is almost non exsistant. I read this one would do the trick. I would say 50 pct of the time it does. The other half I get nothing. Not sure this was worth 449.00 for 50 pct.
