Great router fixed my problem. Been having so many problems in the house regarding Wi-Fi signal since buying this product I have been able to get full signal and the speed that I need for all my products. With this router we are now able to stream all movies had a fast efficient speed without any interruption

My ISP forces us to use their equipment and their router was getting overload with everything connected- I bought this as an addition to the network to help support cells and laptops; while keeping my main WIFI router for all our other equipment ( lightbulbs, Alexa, fridge, tv etc). LIGHTENING FAST SPEEDS. I have no dead zones, no drops- I HAVE CONSISTENT SPEEDS!! Life changing. Wish I bought this sooner. I have slowly started adding other devices to this routers network since I can dedicate one of the 3 bands to smart devices. So far I’m up to 20 devices on my 2nd 5G band... not a single change in speeds to my phone or laptop on the other bands. I highly recommend this!!!

Because of the layout of my house, I was having problems getting signal to all areas. I asked a co-worker to accompany me to Best Buy to purchase a router that would solve my problem. This was not the unit we intended to purchase, but when my co-worker saw this, he described it as a "kick***" router. I knew then I had to have it. As I made my way to the checkout area, the associated commented, "I wish I had this unit" as he placed it in a clear plastic bag. As I was exiting the store, the security associated saw the unit and simply said "awesome". I knew I had made the right decision. Setup was quick and intuitive and the expanded coverage was as expected. The only issue I had was that one of my Smart TVs repeatedly dropped connection to Netflix. After a few Google searches on the symptoms, I determined that the solution was to set a lower maximum speed on the 2.4 GHZ band. Problem solved.

Purchased this router to replace a Linksys WRT1900 that was defective. No regrets! The X6 has great range and throughput as well as two separate 5GHz networks that can be setup independently or to work together. I have not yet tested out the VPN capabilities but I'm looking forward to checking it out soon. Would definitely recommend to households with many devices and small businesses.

Coverage is good with no drop offs at 5G. A little pricey but was on sale.

Yes, this router is a little spendy, but it sets up and works flawlessly. We run a fairly intense load on it with multiple devices either streaming movies or playing online games at one time. We went with this one to have broader range to reach all over upstairs as well as down and keep full signal. Works great with Charter and does all we need it to.

This router certainly has the horsepower to handle all my connecting WiFi devices. It was very easy to get setup, however it has taken me a couple of weeks working with their tech support to get the most from the router. I kept having issues with the WiFi just dropping offline at random times and when it returns (reboots?) speeds sometimes are in the low 10s Mbps!! I will say that so far the tech support I've been using through email has been trying to figure out the issue and has given a lot of different options to try. They have stated that if they can't figure out the problem they will replace the router, which of course I would expect since its brand new!! Even with the issues I've experienced I would still recommend this router because when it is working its great!! I may have just gotten a defective one.

This has improved the speed of our internet dramatically. Very easy setup.

After several years of brand loyalty and performance disappointment, I finally switched to netgear and I haven't been disappointed. No need for range extenders with this router, it has all the range I needed and more. Parental controls could be better but other than that has been a great experience.

I have R8000 on First Floor and R7000 on Ground Floor. I use a Network Powerline adapter to connect R7000 near the Ultra HD TV in the Family Room. R8000 is the Main Router and it works very well. Highly recommend it to purchase from Best Buy. They have thest knowledgeable Geeks to answer the technical questions, you might have. That makes the Best Buy the Best Place to shop.

I needed to upgrade my 8-year old wifi-router (yeah...) and, was hunting this NETGEAR for awhile to see it on sale. So, the day of the sale came and i bought it! Set up was easy and, the biggest winner for me is that it has three bands! i can now connect my computers i use for work to one band (5.0ghz), my family devices to another 5.0 and other stationary devices like nest, tv, etc to 2.4ghz. It actually is noticeably faster and no interference when everyone at the evening jumps on line (it used to be very noticeable slowdown). So, i am happy with this product. Not sure how long it lasts since i just got it. but, the hope is there for a long-lasting quality of service :)

Was very easy to install. Made a big difference in the speed of our electronics.

First there is a pre install setup with wifi password and ssid. Did not work out the box as expected. After a month i noticed slow internet speed after researching others complaining os similar performance and it was believed to be firmware. I went to admin advanced page and backed up the settings and push the button to do a factory reset. It did not erase any of my settings but im now getting 360-450mb/s download speeds wifi just as my wired computers. I am used to asus routers and i believe for the price, options are limited to basic controls in the advanced tab. The unit was rather larger than expected and has lots of bright leds. It works well during this short period besides the reset to factory to get back full speed.

I have had 4 routers in my life so I like to get the good ones and don’t mind spending some cash for them. Up until now I have never had one that i felt was worth the money. Other brands would have weak signals or need reset each week or month. This one is NOT like the others. I have a theater room off the back of my house and it’s a good distance from the main house. Even through brick exterior and 75 feet, I still get a quality signal out of this guy! Very impressed by the app too. Setup was an ease with the downloadable app... saves having to find a lap top with a network plug to configure everything. In addition, it allows you to test the speed and make tweaks all within the app itself.
