I bought this router because the router we were using from our cable company was pathetic. We weren't getting the usage we were paying for. Now everyone (all 4 of us) can be online streaming and or playing games and there's no lag.

This is good router for gaming. Speed is great. Though the only downfall I see is that the distance that it covers isn't that great. I used to have a netgear blackhawk 1900 which was a great router. Had to replace it cause it got hit by lightning. Then I had gotten a netgear nighthawk 2400. It was good but the distance wasnt as good as the 1900. Now I replaced the 2400 with this new 3200 and it seems like the distance gets less and less with the newer routers.

I am not a techie. My Tech installed the router in 15 minutes with no issues. The product replaced my two year old Apple Airport Extreme. The product provides a much faster signal and reaches areas with weak signals. I am very pleased

I purchased this router because my WiFi coverage was lacking and this router definitely increased the coverage in my house. Things are running more smoothly and I don't have to reset the router all the time like I did on my old one.

When moving to an area that has 1GB internet connection, we needed a router that would support our family of five and all our streaming devices without fail. The NightHawk x6 has exceeded my expectations. I constantly get over 400MB up and 500MB down over my wireless connection even with my wife and children all streaming simultaneously. I looked at other routers but I am very pleased I chose to go with this model. I could not give a higher endorsement. If you are looking for a wireless router that supports multiple users and still provides data speeds that it says, this is your device.

I bought this router as my old router wasn't doing its job. I pay for 100mbps but only received 25mbps with my old router. This Netgear Nighthawk X6 is a phenomenal piece of hardware. My speeds skyrocketed to 100mbps. We have a household of 5 people so it was necessary. Now when we are gaming, streaming, and browsing the web simultaneously none of us experience any lag. The settings and features it brings is great too. Love the way it looks, brother says "it looks like a transformer". Indeed it does haha. Highly reccomend it for upgrading an old router or if you have a large household.

Have a 3 story condo. I had an Apple Extreme and Express. Speeds weren’t great, range was subpar and it was constantly dropping. I decided to upgrade, and against online reviews telling me to stay away, I went with the Nighthawk. I also bought anAC2400 to couple with this but I probably didn’t have to. The range is excellent. I’m getting over 200Mbps vs 50-60 with Apple crap. I’ve had no drops. Streaming has been fine so far. Getting both routers setup to use the same SSID was a PITA. App was a bit cumbersome to get working correctly but once I got it it seems fine.

You still can't go wrong with this router. It is, by far, an extremely powerful piece of tech. If you've got a large household, or just need the best of the best, your search may have come to an end. However, being that this review is being written in 2019, at this price point, I would recommend looking at their WiFi 6 "AX" offering. Most computers in 2019 won't have this, but a few enthusiast class laptops and desktops are equipped to take advantage of the new gen. All in all, highly recommended for the bandwidth capability, not so much for the cutting edge technology though.

I bought this as I'm fed up with my service provider internet not being able to cover my whole house. I own a 2 story house and also basement. so all together 3 floors need to be covered. I bought this router actually knowing what I am looking for and having an understanding or routers. This thing is a beast and gives me a boost in speed and the QoS is amazing at making sure my sons ipad doesnt steal internet from my gaming! it covers all 3 floors and i have it located in the basement currently the top floor signal is still 3 to 4 bars out of 5! there is a newer version but for the price I'll pick this beast of a router anytime

I have always used netgear, and I have always has a great experience. When my old netgear router finally went to pasture (after 10 + years) I was in the market for a new one. After doing some research both online and in store it came down to the netgear Ac3200. Setup was crazy easy and the range is incredible! I live in a 3900 Sq. Ft. House and I can get WiFi in the backyard and even some at my neighbors house. This is some powerful equipment right here. I did see that there were some higher grade routers but after talking to the sales guy and from the information I gave him, this is what he recommended and I am 100% happy.

I purchased this router as an upgrade to my Nighthawk R7000 which was about five years old. I haven't completely been through all of the features just yet, but setup was easy, Access Control was not a problem as I had used it before. The WPS button worked for my printer quick and easy. The range hasn't been an issue however we did experience an internet outage with my devices while my wife was online working through a VPN. She didn't lose connection, but the rest of the house did. Rebooted and all was normal again.

We have a 2 story home and the communications company we purchased our wifi from gave us a standard router to service the entire home... It was not strong enough and our tv's kept losing signal...we purchased this product and it 100% solved our weak signal problems! Highly recommend!

I upgraded to this since it was on sale and I can definitely see a speed increase over my AC2300. Since this one is TriBand I'm able to put my more heavy usage electronics on a separate Wireless network so they aren't slowed down by the Phones and the TV's etc.

This is the best purchase I have made I awhile. This router has incredible range and speed. I was really concerned about spending so much on a router, but I thought I'd give it a try and if Ithe didn't work out I would just return it. I'm so happy I bought it, every inch of my house can stream HD video without one bit of lag. I was having trouble reaching the basement, kitchen, and backyard with my old one. I recently cut the cord with cable so we have multiple devices streaming all the time and I haven't had one issue. Even the baby monitor can't mess it up now! My only regret is that I didn't buy it earlier.

Received item as a birthday gift. So far so good. Really like the three band option. Allows for older wifi items to use 2.4 band, and new items to utilize 5ghz band. Easy to setup/configure/reserve ports. Longevity is still to be proven, but to date very pleased with the router.

Needed to boost a virtually non-existent cable provider's Wi-Fi signal to stream video and other programs into a craft room located in my pole barn. This unit boosted the signal sufficiently to accomplish what I wanted.

I love the ease of use of this router & genie app. I can control the WiFi connection to each individual device in the house separately & with the click of a button I can turn it on or off from anywhere with the Genie app.
