This is a great router specially if your home is all ringed by WIFI we were haven't trouble with the old one but no more this unit does the job.

Tri band is the way to go. My old arris gateway wasn't cutting it for speed and coverage. Replaced with this option and a nighthawk cable modem, speeds meet my needs being on Gigabit internet and I can reach theo ther side of my apt on the 5G network without issue. Circle is a big help with so many devices streaming at once, Roku, + 4 laptops/tablets, phones, etc. The fact it's built in is super nice. Setup was easy.

Great improvement in home wifi. Our older netgesr device was 6 years old and we had zero issues other than it could no longer keep up with our wireless devices. We are pretty please thus far with the extended range and zero idle time waiting for downloads.

I have been looking for a router that had Tri band and it really does make a difference. I have at a minimum of 10 devices fighting for band width and this handles them without a hiccup . Definately worth the price when you see the difference it makes.

Bought this after my last router died. Having multiple bands allows our family to put the roku boxes on one band and phones/laptops on the other without streaming interference. Haven't had any issues with it so far.

The Tri band system is great! Supports all the devices in my house and broadcast a strong wifi signal through out. Internet speeds are almost just as good as wired. Out of a 150mbps internet plan I speed tested at 125mbps over wifi.

I bought this to replace my NMighthawk X10, a mac daddy of a router as it included a Plex media server, which is why I bought it. But when it crapped out of me just a few years later, I could not find another one. I bought a WD Ultra EX2 NAS with a Plex server and it works great. But comparing the routers, the X6 performs just as well as the X10 and for about half the price retail. AND it is very easy to set up with the app.

Bought this router due to high gaming and streaming demands on my network. The Tri-Band router gives me enough speed for all my devices and no lag gaming. Very dependable does not drop connections. Very good router.

I absolutely love this router! Before I purchased it I was extremely frustrated with my Comcast router consistently delivering 12Mbps or less. I now get as high as 90Mbps (5G) and don't experience the slowness any longer. Zoom zoom

I’ve purchased three of these routers in the last year. First, for our own home, then for my parents and at our cottage. The range is great, and the set up was simple using the app. We ended up upgrading to a mesh system because of issues with the shape of my house and the location of the router, but I would not hesitate to purchase this router again for a different configuration set up. Worth every penny.

I really needed and router that could not only broadcast enough to eliminate lag in my wireless hungry household, but also give me the control what my kids do online. This is a little pricey but worth every penny.

This router is awesome!! It was super easy to setup. I had it up and running in 10 minutes. The router has extended my WiFi signal significantly further than my old router. I love the separate dedicated channels for video streaming.

I've had this some time now. It's ok. The net gear genie app has this advertisement on the bottom that makes it look like if it was free, which it's not. This is annoying- small detail. The range is better, but not advertised better- thus the rating.

I had a problem with my internet dropping offline every day or two with an older Linksys router. This unit not only solved that problem, but allowed me to eliminate a range extender due to its increased range. Highly recommended!

We purchased this product because the Best Buy representative highly recommended it and it has not disappointed. We have a household with 7 people on devices and this router has increased our speed a great deal!

This router has been in use for about a month and my wi-fi is great. It broadcasts 3 separate signals which is nice if you have a lot on your wi-fi. Setup was easy and the software lets you do a lot of customization if you are into that.

I needed a router to support all my devices and push fast data to them, I must say this router met my expectation. is only been about a month but so far all work flawlessly. worth the money..

The router seems to handle multiple movie streams and my sons Xbox all at the same time. the ios app needs some help and does not support the full set up. For that, you will need to access the router directly from a browser.
