When you have multiple people all using the Internet for work, school, looking up recipes and answering email this baby fits the bill. Even when people are live streaming, watching movies and gaming all at the same time. This was a recommendation from a Best Buy staff who said his parents gave it to him for Christmas. Indeed great product great gift.

Netgear has stepped up their game with this router and simplified the settings. You don't have to use the network genii to make your adjustments, buy this is you want great speed throughout your home.

I don’t know a thing about these devices. This one came recommended so I bought it! I have 5 devices and AT&T WiFi television. All I know is that I can run all devices and the TV works flawlessly. It was easy to set up as I’m not an expert. It’s been on and I don’t even think about it. Has never failed, so I’d absolutely buy this brand again.

Great range and wonderful security. Like the fact that I can set my own guest status and share with friends not on my primary network and still allow them a measure of security. Solid piece of gear!

This is, by far, the best router I have owned. From flawless gaming performance and beautiful delivery of UHD video content to outstanding wireless coverage, this beast really comes through. Yes, it's expensive, though I don't regret a single dollar paid for it! In a household with two hardcore online gamers and another two serious streaming video junkies, the R8000 squeezes out every bit of speed that our Cox Ultimate high speed Internet service has to offer. If I'm going to pay $100 per month for the best high speed internet available, why not spend three bills on the best device to manage it? if you're looking for a high-end router, I would highly recommend this one.

I would recommend this router to those who spend either a lot of time doing online gaming or streaming video. This router works best when placed at higher elevations... a top shelf would be ideal.

Bought this as it looked cool and hoping it was going to take us to places we only dreamed of. Paired this with fiber internet and speeds were close to wired connections. Sitting on the couch streaming HD is just as fast as sitting at the computer desk. Netgear has fast and easy setup if you are not tech savvy and includes simple parental controls.

I am not a tech person but this router was very easy to setup. Having the 3 chanels is great for me having 12 wireless items using it sometimes all at the same time.

The router you need if you have multiple devices that are in need of internet connection. Especially if streaming video and gaming. Have had no Wi-Fi issues in a three story house.

I needed to upgrade from my old rmodem/router. This new router eliminated issues we had with dependability and speed. Easy to set up. Very satisfied. Used for personal and home office.

I have 3500 sq ft home. I could not get wifi in the back of my house or out by the pool. Thx to this product, i now receive wifi a block from my house. Highly recommend this product.

I love this router. Worked perfectly out of the box. I went with the two different IDs. The 5G appears to have less range (fewer bars) but is very fast at 3-4 bars (some distance from the router). I have the router upstairs in an equipment closet and easily reaches all around the house and downstairs--no connections issues whatsoever, no drops, just works.

We had an older router that onky covered 1500 sq ft and only up to 20 devices, and the bedroom Roku would constantly buffer, so it was time for an upgrade. This one covers 2500 sq ft and up to 50 devices, and now the bedroom Roku works great! Highly recommend for homes with 3 kids and two adults and lots of devices connected to wifi.

Was easy to setup and it handles all of my network devices without any issues. My girlfriend thinks its ugly but I think it looks cool in an Alien robot kinda way.

Salesman was told the problem and he recommended this so I purchased took home and set it up, it did what I was told, works perfectly. Definitely worth the money.

I was tired of restarting my network dropping, so I opted for the tri-band nighthawk x3200 (R8000). What an improvement to the wireless bandwidth! Amazing router.
