For the price you get what you pay for. Great speeds when connected. Only draw is it doesnt always keep signal. Need to d/l firmware. Speeds great for gaming. Great upgrade.

This was my first Netgear router - I formerly used Cisco and the set up for this was incredibly easy compared to any of the Cisco routers. I am also very pleased with the range - we formerly used a range extender which didn't always perform great. We have this router in the front corner of a 2400 sq ft house and we have no gaps and it even extends into the backyard somewhat.

I needed a router that would send a signal 80 ft through walls, separate the weak signals from the strong. Well this is it. Absolutely amazing product.

I got this on sale for $250 and it seriously increased my speeds. I replaced my Comcast modem/router with this Netgear router and an Arris Surfboard. It made a huge difference and now I'm going to put a wifi camera system in, since this router is so much better. It was expensive, but definitely worth it. We use it for gaming and other tasks which require fast speeds.
