We were having trouble keeping some things connected, streaming and noticed very slow internet speeds. While we have 4 smart phones in the house, 3 smart tv's, and numerous computers, this new router has solved all of our issues. Reaches all parts of house including downstairs. Only negative is it is quite large but far outweighed by its performance.

This router is agreat replacement for cable provider's modem. Great range.

In order to escape being dependent on Comcast hardware and there terrible support, I purchased a Netgear High Seed Docsis 3 cable modem and this Netgear router to take advantage of my 105MBs internet connection on the wireless portion of my network (not to mention the hassle of turning off the hidden "Comcast Public Hotspot" their router creates. There are lots of setting for remote access, VLAN, etc. The downside is no interface to directly configure the firewall-

This was a purchase that i pondered for a few months because of the cost. However, it was the best money I have ever spent on wi-fi for our home. I am able to use it in our back yard 35 feet off the house. Our computers upstairs are blazing fast considering the unit is downstairs in my office. I wish I had acted sooner instead of being such a cheapo.

This router was purchased to replace an older model but the difference in speed and access is much better. Set up was a breeze. Highly recommend.

I bought this mainly to avoid lag while gaming. With the 3 different bands I haven't noticed any lag at all. My girlfriend can be on the computer and my son and I can be on 2 different Xbox games all at the same time I would highly recommend this to anyone. The extra price is definitely worth it.

Easy setup, strong signal on all floors of house. Simultaneous use of multiple devices including those streaming videos have worked flawlessly!

This is awesome. It handles 4 different devices all doing different things. Amazing! Speed is great!

This tri band wifi router is very good for many devices in a house. We have 3 phones, 3 ipads, xbox, 3 security cams, NAS,, IP Phone, 6 pc's and a server. This is much better at sharing the internal network than my 3 yr old Linksys. However, I also thought the wifi would go further away, like my yard and upstairs where I still get a weak signal. It covers marginally further than the old router in our 4500 sq ft home. Also, the bottleneck in our home is usually between online gaming, xbox live and doing real work..... You are only as strong as your weakest link, the internet in my case.

I needed to find a router that provide better coverage for my three level home without investing in one of the multi device setups, I settled on this device for several reasons one of which was price and performance. I am not disappointed, this unit is providing thee coverage I was hoping for and the increased speeds, a giant leap forward

Really like the Nighthawk design and speeds...located in the basement and able to get good bandwidth on the first floor and somewhat OK on the second floor.

I live in an older home that has presented challenges to push a signal through it with numerous computers, smartphones, tablets, etc... The Nighthawk 6X provides a powerful signal everywhere and the tri-channel system keeps everyone and each device running at high speed for work, gaming and streaming. Excellent purchase!

It can handle a big load. I have at least 8 devices connected to it concurrently. Best for video streaming, gaming and web browsing. No lag.

We have a large home with 3 levels. Prior to purchasing this router we always had trouble getting strong signals and download speeds were slow. Now all problems solve. Streaming is smooth.

This router is more for a power user. I have at least 20 devices in my house that uses WIFI. This router is a beast! You get what you pay for.

The unit is easy to set up and use. However the instructions are not clear on how to change the factory set name and password to one selected by the user.

Great router, installs in minutes and has excellent wireless coverage. I still had a reasonable signal in the far corners of my home. I paired it with a netgear range extender and we have whole home wifi with numerous devices at excellent download speeds. (note: internet service is fiber optic, type of service will effect your results) if you are looking for high speeds for gaming, streaming movies/music, and more this is your router)
