I installed this in a friend's 4-story townhome. The connection is on the 4th floor and their prior router only had spotty coverage on the 3rd floor and none below that. With this router, I had a signal on the 2nd floor. I added an AC1200 range extender on 2 to extend the range to the media room on the first floor. Worked really well.

it's the best router you can get out there for that price , yes a little expensive and but it will save you the headache down the line and has everything you need , very easy to set up . you don't have to be tech savy to set it up , pretty sure your grandma can set it up lol, dont waste time on other just do it and get it

Great product. Installation was easy, multiple electronics were able to connect and stream at the same time with no drop in signal.

Signal reaches all th way to a back kitchen and even to a storage area way back in our 4200 sq ft office. Good buy.

Replace a 5 year old netgear product. Times have improved things. This unit offers 3 instead of one connection, 2 of them high speed

In a household that often sees use of multiple wifi devices per person, eg. phones, iPads, computers, gaming consoles. Experienced many issues with maintaining a reliable wifi connection before purchasing this router. This particular router may have been overkill, but we consider it well worth it since we've had 0 problems since setting it up.

I was always blaming the cable company on their modems. Turns out for me that it was my cheap wireless routers. This beast won't drop a beat and speeds are freaky fast and coverage is enough for my 2700 sqft two floor home. It's the best wireless router I've ever had and don't have to reboot it every week or every month like most.

It’s the best router so for right now, use it for gaming so I don’t lag and I control who’s on the internet as well

I returned the first unit after a week of trouble talking to Netgear. The second unit I had the same problem and noticed the problem occurred after firmware 1.0.0.110 was installed. I used an earlier version and unit worked fine. Since then I reported to Netgear and latest firmware 1.0.1.16 works great. I have great coverage. Did not give a 4 or 5 because of the initial problems I had but Netgear did fix the firmware problem after I complained about it.

numerous wifi connections on my network,streaming movies on mutiple tv's and gaming .this router has handled everything i have thrown at it with ease. the netgear app is a breezeyou can turn off the internet connection to any device on your network with one click. easy to setup and understand.

This router replaced a Netgear N900 that worked great for 8 years before dying - not bad. The Netgear Nighthawk app makes installation a breeze. Range is what was advertised and is whole house coverage for me (and probably most others). Looks cool too.

I had to use extenders with my last router, but with this one, I get a strong signal from every area of the house, and the yard.
