This router provides all over house coverage in about 4000 sq ft up and down stairs. I am impressed with this netgear

I purchased this router for my home in hopes that it would be well built and future proof. My main concern was longevity as two previous Linksys and one Netgear routers all failed within a year. I am hoping that in the case of this router that the price is an indication of its quality as it is expensive, at more than double the price of my previous routers it better last. It was very easy to install and set up. Range and speed are no different than my previous routers, however with the beam forming and three wifi networks I won't have an issue with all the devices in my home interfering with one another or bogging down the speed. I am in the process of making our home "smart" and this router has all the right wifi features to help manage everything. I do wish it had a built in "Smart Hub" like the Wink or Samsung HUBs so that I could eliminate extra equipment. I love the remote access and geanie app. I am able to manage the second Nighthawk X6 I installed at my inlaws house in Florida. So far so good, just hope it lasts.

The distance is not a strong as I thought it would be...roughly 3500-4000 square feet, but it is consistent and has a strong signal.

This is an amazingly fast router and it is equally easy to set up. Online controls work quite well. It has multiple independent router channels which make it great for households with lots of devices connecting to the router. They all work independantly so there is no drag when two or three systems are downloading simultaneously.

This Wi-Fi router is very fast and has great range. If you stream media or are a gamer this router would suit you well.

We live in a very spread out home and have always struggled with poor signal quality in some "dead spots" around the house... but this router seriously lives up to its hype... we have full bars of signal all the way out to the street!!! Not to mention the 3 seperate wifi channels to allow us to dedicate our wireless PCs/Laptops/Printers to a seperate SSID from our tablet/phone/mobile wifi.

There are seven people using this at the same time. We stream movies, play music, go on utube and the signal stays strong.

Got rid of my cable modom and router and got this. It is really fast no buffering or waiting bang its there. Great buy

This router works great I have a large house with a lot of Woodwork and I get a great signal everywhere

This router works great for multiple devices. Not as much range as lesser model but sufficient for whole house coverage. Great speed!

Great- reaches thru my brick house into my backyard

Easy setup and has worked flawlessly. It has much better range than my Asus 1900. I'm using the Asus as a repeater now.

This router is just what i need it. I can see the difference between my old router and this one. If you are like me then you probably have lots of devices using WiFi, if thats the case then this router is what you need, it will handle them really good. I dont wanna get into the tech part so all i will said to finish this review is if it works for me im sure it will work for you.

The router worked just as advertised. It was easy to set up and the connections are all working great.

This router is great for long range needs. I use it in the backyard which is quite a distance away from the device.

The 6 antennas reach all corners of our old tank of a house, so I don’t need my extender now. It’s fast and stays consistently connected compared to my older unit by another company. Fairly easy to set up. Good phone support.
