Upgrade to a more better range and power no wifi extender needed.

This is a great router, it gives the coverage and power needed. I use all Netgear equipment in my network. I have never had a problem with a new Netgear device. I like the X6 TriBand features.

Bought this for my mom. Every time we would FaceTime her internet would always freeze. She was having a hard time picking the wifi up downstairs since her modem is upstairs. I bought this router cause it has six antennas that you can point in any direction you want. I pointed them all down and now we have uninterrupted face timing!

I expected better signal strength and throughput given all the hype and marketing. But, I don't see any significant (if any at all) improvement over my last Netgear Nighthawk router which, like every other router I've ever owned, stops working properly after a few years and has to be thrown out. Could be its just my experience.

Although pricey, this router is great if you have multiple devices on " your home network. Easy to set up and works like a charm. You can also check of the models but the Netbgear provides great value

Very easy setup never knew it could be that easy. The app makes it quick and allows you to see who has logged on. It reaches far enough I know who is at my door before they knock!

Routers provided by AT&T are not powerful enough to handle more than 8 devices at a time and will cause freezing and dropping of devices. This router can handle many more devices at once and solved all my freezing/dropping issues. However, beware not to run any Netgear router updates for this router or the router will become corrupted and will no longer work. Not sure why Netgear even has this as an option on their website when they will tell you over the phone that running any online updates to their product will cause it to crash, rendering it unusable and you will have to purchase a new router.

The product does as expected. Worth the price if your home has multiple devices that need to connect wireless at the same time. If you are under I don't know 10 devices I would not recommend this however over 10 it is a must have! Excellent experience so far.

Tried several routers, couldn't get a good signal in key areas of the house. This Nighthawk did the trick! Also, with visiting family, everyone was able to connect/stream to the web with no problem.
