We needed reliable internet access in a room far from our Comcast router. The Netgear device has reliably provided that. I thought it was a bit expensive for what it does.

I have AT&T for my internet service provider, who provide a combo modem/router with their service. The AT&T router had difficulty reaching our downstairs living area, so after consulting with one of the Best Buy employees I purchased the Netgear Orbi. The Orbi app was great with connecting to the AT&T router and automatically setting everything up correctly (I had tried doing this manually and finally consulted the manual and used the app.) We've had no problems with wifi coverage in any area of our house since installation.

I bought this because I was tired of switching between my router and access point depending on my location in my house. I have an older house and the lathe and plaster walls just kill wifi signal. Bought the Orbi to be able to roam on one network. My router is in the basement(close to modem) and I put the 2 satellites as far as I could from the router to get best coverage. Both satellites have good connection to the router and speeds are consistent throughout the house. I like that the 2 satellites are small and plug into outlets. I did add a couple switches to be able to run Ethernet cables to a few wired devices(by choice, not necessity), but it's been well worth it(on sale plus 10% odf plus $75 from points put it down to less than $200).

Used Verizon Fios and the wifi extender, but still was not getting the full bar coverage throughout my house. I moved to OTT TV plan and wanted to make sure that we had the wireless coverage to properly stream content. The network has been fantastic and was quite easy to set up too. It can handle up to ~2 gigabytes / sec so it has the ability to run the network in my house for the future even as internet speeds increase.

Really helped with the WiFi coverage in my home. Really noticed a difference in the second floor of the home.

Should of gotten this a long time ago. Good speed, no dead spots, my direct tv does not drop signal...yeah!!

The setup is plug and play and is powerful and fast. No problem reaching throughout two story house.

After reviewing various mesh routers from different companies, I settled on this Netgear Orbi mesh system. Setup was fairly easy using the App on my iPhone. For those of you who are more advanced users, there is not the typical options for custom setups, but enough to do what’s needed. I have had zero issues since installing and would recommended this system to those looking to upgrade to a mesh router.

I replaced my old router with this mesh system because I had so many devices connected and I also recently install WiFi camera and the performance and signal strength went south big time. I bought this Orbi system and it solved all my issues and my WiFi is 10x faster. Full signal strength throughout my whole house and even outside by my cameras. If you have multiple devices and cameras I highly recommend this system!!

Since we purchased and installed the NETGEAR - Orbi AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System we could not be happier with the signal boost it provides us from our Spectrum Internet provider. Use it in our split level townhouse and notice only a slight delay (less than a second) in Wi-Fi signal strength! Easy to install and use!
