I needed to get wifi in a couple of dead spots in my home. After trying a power line adaptor, I decided to research mesh networks. It came down to a couple and Orbi was chosen. I now have coverage where I didn't before!

Spent quite a lot of money on the last WiFi system BB recommended and an extender which didn’t work so well. Spent ALOT on this one now. So far WIFI has been a lot better. A couple of times it wouldn’t connect, but really no major issues.

This router solved an issue I had with dead zones. I have an older home with plaster walls, which turned out to be the kiss of death for my wifi. This router provides seamless coverage with no loss in speed from unit to unit.

I researched and finally decided on this Tri-band mesh network. Along with this Router and Satellite, I purchased a Netgear 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem and got rid of the ISP modem equipment. Installed in June and already have had to contact Netgear Tech Support twice now because WiFi frequently is not available. So frequently that I noticed an increase in my cellular data usage while at my home on my phone and tablet. Without the Internet Streaming TV on I had not noticed that the WiFi kept dropping off and I was using cellular data. Oftentimes the TV in the lower part of our home would not work despite the fact that it was working well at first when I installed the new mesh network. Twice now I have had to spend an hour or more on the phone with Tech Support to change numerous Settings on the Router which also required resyncing the Satellite. I asked Tech Support Rep why doesn't NetGear make a device that works properly right out of the box? Why does this product take two separate times working with Tech Support and changing numerous settings to make this product work? Each time they end the conversation with the same statement: if the problem happens again we will replace the unit. Yet, that has not happened yet. If you have several hours every other month to be on the phone with Tech Support then go for it, but I certainly do not. As for performance: It is poor to average. 30 feet from the Router and standing between the Satellite my WiFi signal drops in half to 2 bars.

I am not a techie, but I found this easy to set up and it improved our internet significantly. I did have a few hiccups in the set up but they were easily solved and very well could have been my fault.

I have purchased similar units in the past few years but nothing compares to the service of the Netgear Orbi 300. My wireless devices are no longer freezing, nor am I experiencing slow or low downloads.

Worked very well for 4 months and then died. I couldn't easily reset the router, and when I could, it would work for a few minutes and then it would die again. And then to even get support from Netgear you need to shell out $140 for a yearly support subscription - which I wouldn't need if their product worked.

I am very pleased with the performance of this router. However, I tried to install myself and ended us calling the friendly Geek Squad. It was money I had no intended to spend, but overall it was worth it.

Very straight-forward solution for those whom do not want to deal with manually configuring a hardwired AP, extender (which doesn’t work that well, etc. works well, stable connection in my 2-story 3600 SF home

In terms of getting WiFi coverage it's a great system. However the wireless backhaul that runs on 5GHz results in severe performance issues in terms of speed. I'm not sure why Orbi can't support wired backhaul like the Velop (which does both). Also, there is no QoS except for a Speedtest. Finally, there is no way of knowing if a device is connected to the router or satellite through the app itself. Only option is to manually enter the satellite's IP address and then logging in. The mobile app quite frankly is a waste of time after the initial setup. I even downloaded Netgear Genie to get a better idea of what the system status was. Considering the high cost of this system, I expected more.

This router eclipsed any other router I have used in our house, which has plaster walls & related metal grids. It solved a band width issue & allowed me to take full advantage of my 70" smart tv. Well worth the price.

This has boosted the wireless signal so that we can use all the new devices we have purchased to be more up to date. It has really helped get the signal to all of the house despite the old plaster walls.

Overall, still the fastest mesh, with the greatest coverage. Setup and use, not quite as easy as Eero Mesh, but still the best package for power users that needs coverage and speed. A++

It is performing as advertised. It cured all the problems that I was having with weak connections. The system also allows for faster internet when it becomes available. I am very satisfied with Orbi so far.

This set up has worked perfectly in my house. It allows for a strong WiFi signal throughout the house. We have large ceilings and a bonus room which has been a problem in the past, but not anymore.

Purchased these to replace a Belkin router, and a Linksys Range Extended. The RE hardly worked after 90 days and they Belkin had issues with range and multiple connections. So far the Orbi's have been great.

I bought this because I was having issues with my nighthawk and it was super easy to setup and the satellite orbi setup was as simple as hitting a button. Fast speeds and network meshes very well.

We just had a new home built and I was adding smart items. Unfortunately my router from the satellite company did not reach all locations of my home. The Orbi AC3000 has made the transition very smooth.

I did tried all of the Routers which includes Nighthawk X10, EA9500 etc and none of them was able to beat the Dead spots in my home even with the Range Extenders. But Orbi just surpassed all of them its a great unit....

I was having trouble getting service through my entire house. I had the nighthawk (awesome for apartments or single level homes) but was having difficulty with service in the upper levels of my house. Problem solved!
