I signed up for ATT internet before realizing how bad the service would be. Since I have 2 iPads, $ smartphines and 2 laptops in my house, I need a strong internet provider. his product has helped, by setting up another access point, I am able to use all my devices and not have an incredibly low loading of websites and etc. It does work, but maybe it is constrained by my ISP, because it still is slower than my previous service.

We needed to add wireless coverage to 2 offices on opposite ends of our building. Two of these did the trick and now both offices enjoy reliable and fast wireless internet access. Setup was easy and quick. I was amazed that the signal carried across electrical lines over a long distance in a large building (60k sq ft) with complex electrical wiring. This option was much cheaper than running cat5 to both offices and performs like a champ. We have a 50mb connection in our main office and both access points will get about 35mb on a wireless-n laptop.

I was having WiFi signal strength problems with our new smart TV. The NetGear device was recommended and I was very happy at how easy it was to set up and for all of my equipment to recognize the new signal source and attach to it.

The Internet was horrible across the house. I have this in the opposite side of the house where the signal was bad, and I do not regret this purchase. I highly recommend if you need the better sugnal anywhere in your house!

When I opened the box and saw the two halves of the body of the Access Point did not fit together well, I thought this was going to be a second-rate product and I would end up sending it back. But much to my surprise, after setting it all up, initially without security, and then with security enabled, it all worked rather well, and I can now access the internet even from my garage or out on the deck. I'm pretty happy!

This powerline adapter was so easy to install & set up, it almost did it all by itself. I was very impressed at the brief time I had to spend setting this up, and the ease that it worked with Windows 8.1. great product.

This device is AMAZING. I live in a duplex, and because the copper wiring for the plumbing is between floors, the wifi in my apartment has been a nightmare of years. I've tried the gi-normous Apple wifi extender, a new router, and countless appointments from the cable company and nothing worked. One floor has great wifi, the other was choppy at best. This product was recommended by a friend who experienced the same problem. The wifi travels through the outlets and it is AMAZING. No more slow downloads or accessing the web. I HIGHLY recommend this product.

We purchased this after reading reviews and expected much better results. It was easy enough to setup, but the application that comes with it whilst ok, is a little tricky to figure out for someone who is not very technical. It has speeded up the wifi somewhat, but not to the extent that it promised.

Worked great to solve our wifi problems in a large home! We previously bought a lesser expensive extender and it didn't help at all. I am so happy to be able to use wifi anywhere in the house!

My home is over 4000 sq ft and two stories. I've always had a slow/weak signal in one corner of the first floor (2500 sq ft). The modem/router is in the rear and for some reason the connection was not great in one section of the house(in the front). I had looked at other extenders in the past, but was advised to purchase a new router which I did. The new router did fairly increase the strength for streaming certain movies, but when it came to HD it continued to pause or freeze while searching or waiting for an increase in signal strength.
Finally, I saw this little guy which was nice since the router is Netgear as well. I took it home and tried to install it. The devices communicated easily, but when I moved the extender to my desired location, the devices loss communication. The second time, I started over and placed the extender device in the desired location at initial setup. The two components communicated and I was on the road to happy street. Now I can access the web and stream movies easily without pauses or freezes.
I'm glad, I waited to purchase this product because it hasn't failed me yet, and I don't have to turn my laptop or phone in a certain direction to increase the signal strength.
I didn't mention the upstairs b/c it is a no web zone. (Some places just are off limits)

Was able to install and hook up an extended desktop to my wired network system in under 5 minutes. Once I setup the points, I was easily getting 51-53 mbps downloads across a 50mbps line.

Our cox cable wifi signal wasn't strong enough to reach upstairs in our house. We installed two of the Netgear Powerline 500s for our smart tv sets. They are working great now.

Unlike a range extender, this is like another router that can be placed anywhere I your house. Great for those bonus rooms or offices that aren't reached by your wifi signal.
