Solid option for extending internet range
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extremely easy to set up and works as intended. It didn't boost my wifi speeds by as much as I had hoped, but the ethernet was really effective.

Good buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been having problem with our smart tv upstairs and also our smart phone once we go upstairs. So, I bought this and connected my smart tv via Ethernet and using my smart phone connected to this devise and never had a complain. Connection been good for my tv and my smart phone. Will buy one more for my other smart tv in the bedroom.

Works as stated.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had no issues and was a quick and painless setup. Netgear is so much a better product than Belkin as this provided much faster speeds for the Wireless portion than my Belkin router.

Allows WIFI to be available in separate building
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We needed WIFI in a detached garage apartment but the cable company wouldn't wire up a separate building. We used the Netgear Powerline AC1000 to send WIFI through the electrical lines as the garage is on the same meter. It works great and our tennant is happy with the results. One only receive 6mbps to stream video and this delivers 15mbps over the electrical line. If the router and modum need to be rebooted this gizmo still operates w/o further tweaking.

Works as intended
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love using powerlines to connect my devices directly to the internet. Imagine my surprise to find one that also extended the range in my 2 level home! Easy setup and super fast!

A Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use the adapter in the middle of the house. I installed the wifi access point in an outdoor workshop about 75 feet from the location of the adapter. It works like a charm. I have 4 wifi (google home) switches and electrical sockets connected to the wifi access point in addition of an iPad which I use to cast to a television. It is exactly what I hoped it would be for a reasonable cost.

Great WIFI Extender
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super Easy to set up, great signal strength, no signal dropping whatsoever. Great for gamers and movie lovers who want that stronger signal in a room with no router

Really expands the range of a network
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i have a 3 story home and had a very difficult time getting a good consistent wi-fi signal to all my rooms for my tv's to work properly. This fixed the issue expanding the signal to even the furthest corners of my basement. The best part was i did not have to hire a technician to come and install it for me, granted it was a bit over my technologically challenged mind but my daughter had it up and running in less than 5 minutes

Works great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to extend the range of my wifi in my new home. I have a basement office set up that is kind of far away from my router. I used this to extend the range and it works really well. I have my computer connected to it using the included ethernet cable and it also broadcasts a wireless signal that I can use for tablets/smartphones/laptops in my basement. It solved a lot of problems for me!

Wow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very skeptical about how this would perform but I am extremely impressed. Gave me connection in my house where I couldn’t get it before. Easy and fast to install.

Great wifi extender
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It worked the first minute I plugged it. First I tried in the same room as the primary router then in the farthest bedroom but same floor from the router ( after the kitchen and main bathroom ~ 22 yards in straight line between the two power inlets) for the same results and still the booting time for checking the signal strength. I was lucky the house wiring was good, i guess. Sometime the signal is stronger in the intermediate rooms than the primary router with Iphone and Ipad. So I also have wifi when I rest on the backyard deck. Real good purchase. I am looking to change standard passwords.

Inconsistent - do your research before buying
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately, as many reviews state, this does not work as consistently as you'd think. Although it does isolate your signal from other interference caused by the wifi itself, it is EXTREMELY susceptible to electrical interference, including large high-powered appliances like electric stoves, ranges, and microwaves. Do not buy this if you are attempting to go between floors.

Inconsistent performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tried this as an initial alternative to more expensive mesh-type extenders. I was told by the Best Buy tech that it would use the same SSID as my router without the "EXT" adder. Unfortunately that was not the case. You can set the SSID to the same as your home router, but then you are confused when using your devices as to which access point is actually connected. It still required the same constant checking of the WiFi settings to get consistently good performance throughout the entire house. Also, the wireless range seemed poor. Signal strength was weak less than 20 feet away from the wall wart. Also, the house wiring connection quality seemed to vary hourly. At times the quality was excellent. Other times it would experience dropouts and stalls. My power is all on the same phase in one breaker box, but I still experienced inconsistent performance from one end of the house to the other with the connection through the house wiring. Ultimately I decided to opt for the more expensive mesh-type extender which provided a true single, whole-house SSID with more consistent performance and better wireless signal strength.

Works perfectly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't sure this would solve the problem of limited wifi signal in a basement 2 floors away from router. But it worked perfectly. And was very easy to install.

Easy!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extremely easy to set up, and works great, even though there are two electrical panels between the units. Surviving the brutal heat in our garage so far.

Good for getting past thick walls of older homes
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My house is a thick brick-built house from the 1930s, and the upstairs rooms weren't getting a good Wi-Fi signal, so I bought this to bypass the thick walls/floors of downstairs to upstairs, using the house's existing electric wiring. Plugging one end to the router, then plugging it to the electrical outlet, and then plugging the antenna to the electrical outlet upstairs, all of a sudden the entire 2nd floor had screaming Wi-Fi speeds with no spottiness. This did the trick for our house's environment.
