I had to update this one after using it for 2 years in order to fit my needs. Depending on what you do, it is cheaper and works. But if you are into streaming, probably need to get something else

This is a good writer that is easy to set up, but strongly recommend it for smaller spaces. We have a 2000 square-foot house and I couldn’t reach the thermostat on the other end of the house.

I haven’t been able to log in to my app for this since about 3 months after buying it, didn’t think much of it until I saw a news article saying that most of their models have been compromised and need an update...so how do I update without being able to log in?

I would go with a mesh network instead. Best Buy has some good choices for mess network and if you prefer Netgear, they do also make mesh network devices.

In order to setup, you have to download an app to your smartphone, tablet, or whatever. Kinda dumb way to set up a device to get on the internet.

Since this was connected my Alexa will not play music without pauses and skips. No problems with spoken word, just music. Very frustrating!!

    Not bad

Bought this router to create a seperate network in my room, and it's not bad at all. The wifi strength is pretty bad, though. The 5ghz goes out within like 10 feet of the router, and then the 2.4ghz is "fair" to "poor" signal strength at the other end of the house. Not bad for what I wanted it for, though. Could be much better in terms of signal strength.
