I thought hey joe & mac recreated with hand drawn sprites cool. That was the only thing cool about it. Controls sucks and unresponsive. animations is decent. i understand the devs wanted to make it challenging but it is super difficult. Not only is it set on hard but they decided hey lets have the characters lose health for just walking. This game is not for casual gamers and well definitely turn even hard core gamers away with bitter taste in their mouth. Stay away, not worth the money.

This game is HARD! If you don't want a challenge, stay away. It took me a half an hour to beat the first level, but then the difficulty surprisingly decreased. Levels are short. They are so short that the basic arcade mode is almost the equivalent of a boss rush mode. Despite how short the levels are, you will die a lot. Health seems to decrease over time, probably due to this being a remake of a quarter sucking arcade game. There is also an extended mode with longer levels, if you wish for a change. Overall, it is enjoyable old-school entertainment.

This is by far the worst game I have ever purchased. I remember playing the old SNES games and loved them as a kid. This game looks better, however the difficulty is through the roof! Bad guys take off way to much damage, and you lose health just by walking..yes by walking. The weapons are very underpowered. It is not fun at all. You know the feeling you get shovling snow only to see the plow cover the area you JUST finished? Or the feeling of stubbing your toe in the middle of the night on the way to the bathroom? This game will give that same feeling. Save your money, do not buy this hot garbage and pray the developers go out of business.
