Replaced my daughters 3ds that I spilled milk on it works better than the 3ds my daughter hated the 3d feature. Her only complaint is the flap over the game cartridge is a little difficult to use but I think it will help it be a little more waterproof

Got this as a gift for my GF. Despite the 3DS/2DS line is nearing it's end she's been enjoying the extensive library of 3DS games. It doesn't have the passive 3D from the 3DS but aside from that its pretty much the same console (in a slimmer form factor). There is something to play for any type of gamer. The UI does feel dated but that is to be expected, the 3DS has been on the market 8 years. When you compare that to a smart phone that's about 4 phone upgrades (assuming you're upgrading every 2 years) and 4 OS updates. Your phone will always feel more modern than a 3DS/2DS. However I believe the gaming experience on a phone cannot compete with a dedicated handheld. Good for kids and good for adults. Stop giving your $1500 phone to your toddler in fear of them dropping it on concrete. Just them this. You can download Youtube on it too.

I think this a great hand held system to have. I really like the fact that with this unit, we are able to play all the DS available. For my purpose, the availability to have the 3D option was not important so that's why I went with this system.

Having sold his 3DS a year ago as he stopped playing it, my son decided he wanted a DS again. He never used the 3D so the 2DS was fine. Shame only the purple was available at the time but he wasnt bothered.

I used to play a DS lite as a kid and I loved it. This DS is bigger and better, and has so many cool features compared to the old systems! I just wish Best Buy sold more games for it, but I’ve been finding them elsewhere

My son really like his New 2DS XL Bundle this was his birthday present ( he turn 11). He enjoy how convenient in size is the NEW 2DS XL (pocket size). The Mario Kart 7 game is so much fun he is very happy with his birthday present.

I love this hand held! I bought this for playing on the go and I couldn't be happier. Mario Kart 7 is absolutely awesome on the DS and you will have so much fun playing with others or by yourself.

Love this DS! It’s a great size, and I love that Mario kart is already downloaded to the hard drive! So sick, you can play anytime and not need the cartridge or to even buy the game at all. Totally worth it

I bought this New 2ds for my almost 10 yr old grandson who years ago had the much smaller 3ds. He has been enjoying it from the moment I gave it to him, prior to his bday on the 21st. It goes almost everywhere with him!

We got this for my daughter as she wanted portable games for long trips, etc. She plays it quite often now, even choosing it over the console game systems we have because she can go wherever she wants while playing.

I purchased this for my son, who is 5. He was spending a lot of time trying to play games on a tablet, but this games are full of ads. This system is straight forward, and geared towards kids. Very satisfied with it.

Bought this for my 5 1/2 year old so he could get used to it before our big trip. He caught on to it in no time. Have had it for over a month now and so far so good. Definitely get a case for it though.

Bought this for my 5 year old son. Know it's not the latest Nintendo game system but perfect for him. He loves it and it is easy for him to hold. Games are a little more affordable.

I bought this item for my son so he had something to play with in the car on trips. He liked the larger screen. We also got the travel set with headphones, a charger, and a case.

It is a fun handheld for the family. The 3d option was taken out so it saves money. It still plays the 3ds games though. It gets dropped constantly, but still works so it is durable.

Purchased for my grandsons when we were taking a long road trip. They enjoyed playing. It was easy for them to use on their own with just a brief demonstration on what the buttons do.

I bought this for my almost 4 year old who loves Mario. I liked that you can change the settings to block out things that aren't good for her age. The setup was very easy and she loves the camera feature, just to play. My only complaint is the charging time. The battery lasts 1 1/2 -2 days with moderate use but takes 5 to 6 hrs to charge. Otherwise a great gift!

We got this as a replacement for my son who had a much older system. He was able to play his old games on this system along with new ones. The price was perfect and he loves it.

Love my 2ds!! I hate the 3d on the 3ds.. bothers my eyes big time. But this lets me play without accidently having 3d on.. and it is purple. :)

As somebody who never used the 3D features this was perfect for me. Grab better life and it comes with mario kart. Upgraded internal hardware makes Pokemon Moon run much smoother
