This was a gift for my husband for Valentines. The first humidor had a pretty good ding in the door frame that the impact made the door crooked. So, we returned it to our local Best Buy for a re-order. They were nice about it and re-ordered the item. The second humidor ALSO had a ding in the door (in almost the same place but, at least, was not hard enough a hit to move the door on this one). We went to see about getting this one replaced and they were out of stock So, after a bit of a hassle for his present, my husband made the decision to keep his humidor because it is a great size and easier to maintain than his box humidor. Overall he likes it just wish we hadn't had the hassle with the damaged item (didn't feel like much of a gift after the two trips to the store to get it fixed) and it does not look like one would expect a new items to look.

This humidor has exceeded my expectations. I fill the water container once a month and forget about it. It keeps my cigars perfect.

For an economy temperature controlled humidor, this is worth every penny.

I purchased this humidor after reading reviews and info, the product was good but not ideal for my needs. The temperature controls were easy and keep the cigars fresh. The shelves were ok, but are more designed for boxes then loose cigars.

I did have some troubles with the unit and contacted Newair costumer services, they were great helping me out in the process.

This humidor is very easy to set up, and the hygrometer built into the drawer is surprisingly accurate. I am using a Cigar Oasis Excel for humidification, which is not included with the humidor. The Excel is an active humidifier, but for this relatively small space, a polymer bead type passive humidifier would work well, and that would include such products as Boveda packs. Generally a sizing of 250 cigars is based on small cigars, I anticipate easily fitting 150 large premium cigars in this humidor. It's deeper than it seems, so there really is a lot of room, and the wooden drawer and shelves, along with whatever boxes I put in there should allow a humidity buffer, so every time you open the door all the humidity doesn't rush out. I've been storing cigars at home for nearly 20 years, I've used igloo coolers, Tupperware, Ziplock bags, as well as traditional wood humidors. It's a nice looking item, easy to adjust the temperature, and is priced better than a comparable sized quality traditional humidor. I like that you can fit both boxes of cigars and singles in the humidor, very versatile. If you like the modern look, and take care to not the humidity get to much over 70%, this is a very nice cigar storage solution.

When the humidor arrived I noticed a strong plastic smell that overpowered any smell from the cedar shelves. I've washed the inside twice now with soap and water, put baking soda in there and still can't get rid of the smell. I'm worried about the impact it will have on the cigars. I would not recommend this product.

I have now owned the Newair CC-100 cigar cooler for 3 weeks and really enjoy it. I have 3 humidors and this is my best and largest. It's easy to set up and I had mine at 70% humidity in 2 days. The glass door is a nice feature that allows you to check your humidity without opening it up. It's quiet and easily fits on the far end of my desk.

For the first month the cigar humidor has worked well. Very quiet and maintains temp and humidity well. You have to adjust the humidity level on your own until you get it just right for the number of cigars you have in the unit. Leave the supplied water container in the unit until you get the level you want and then remove it. The unit has held a constant temp and humidity level since the first setup.

Interior was easy to clean, I used white vinegar and distilled water. Humidity beads not included but the unit comes with a container. Haven't had any issues with it. Just season and it's ready for use.

The NewAir CC-100 is compact and perfect for anywhere in the home. The setup process is simple. You can store up to 250 cigars with no problem. The design is elegant and looks great and is a great conversation piece. I highly recommend this to any cigar fan whether you are a new cigar smoker or a veteran cigar smoker.

I have used standard humidors for years and got tired of inconsistencies in my cigars. I bought the NewAir out of frustration and now my cigars are perfect! No kidding.

Received this late Dec, been trying it for about 3 weeks. 1) Doesn't hold temperatures very well. It almost mirrors the temperature swings in the home. Guess it's not very well insulated. 2) Humidity will not go above 55% or so even with a full tray of water in it. 3) It's not a well made product, looks really rough. Has not been successful in keeping my cigars in good shape.
