    Meets All My Dash Cam Needs

    This is a great and simple dash cam that provides everything you need for documenting roadside incidents.  Installation of the mount was extremely simple. All I had to do was remove the red backing on the 3M tape and stick it to the windshield. The power cord was long enough that I could easily route the cable around the windshield to my 12 volt plug. However, It would have been nice if It came with a USB cable instead of a 12 volt plug. The reason I say that is because most modern cars have more than one USB port which would have been sufficient for powering the camera. Some other things I like about this dash cam are that it connects to the mount using magnets. Which allows for a secure connection while driving and it's easy removal when the camera is not in use. I also like that it simultaneously captures and saves excellent video footage in both high definition and standard definition. This feature uses more storage for capturing video. However, in the long run it enables me to have large high quality videos and smaller video files that I can easily share via messaging apps and email. Furthermore, it captures important driving data points like time, date, speed, and GPS location. Overall I think this dash cam is great and meets all my dashcam needs.

    After installing it kept having issues, tried calling their tech-support but guess what, I was out of luck. Their tech-support is in England and there was no 1-800 number. Second, open and closing hours are not in the same time zone as the USA.

    I’ve had this dashcam for a few days now and it has caused me nothing but problems from the second I installed it. I also have an issue where it randomly stops recording for a few moments and then starts recording again. Overall, there are much better products out there for the same cost if not for less.

      SD cards only have limited lifespans. In our manuals we recommend formatting every 2-3 weeks to prolong the life of the card. Without this regular formatting, or if the card is non-compatible or damaged, the card could corrupt which would cause a failure of data writing.
      Symptoms of SD card failure are: an audible 'alarm' tone, non-functional buttons, freezing, corrupted files on playback, image missing from files, lack of file recording etc.

    The dashcam didn't work. I'm sad about this purchase experience. If there was an option to place zero I would. I tried everything to get it to work but It failed each time. Waste my time and money. Not worth it.

    NextBase Dash Cam 322GW The NextBase Dash Cam is small. Lightweight and compact. IT has a sleek type of matte black look to it with a touchscreen for the main screen. It does not take up much space it comes with a suction to mount it on the window by the rearview mirror. It has built in wifi and bluetooth and works with both the iphone and android device. The instructions are quick and easy to follow, The hardest part of the install is the wiring if you want to hide the wires. It comes with a wedge tool to help with the wiring. The device itself is pretty much plug and play. Make sure to purchase your own SD card and format it, it does not come with one. It does come the power supply unit suction USB cable to charge once you take it out of the box. And a quick start guide. The click and go pro gps mount to me is pretty nice super strong suction! I didnt know what to expect having never used a dashcam before but with the way people drive and park these days i think everyone should have one. I am pleasantly surprised about the video quality on this little guy. I did not expect much from it being so small but the video qualitty is at 1080p images are clear and viewable. You can view and edit the video with the app. The quick start guide is super easy to follow and dont forget to download the app MyNextBaseConnect. The app has a video library, connection to dash came, an sos feature and home. There is a button on the home screen to make an easy connection to your dash cam. The dash cam tab allows for a list of the files. I would most def suggest everyone getting one as a way to have backup security for their car due to it having accident detection and quick recording feature/ or getting road tripping videos.Wish i would’ve gotten one sooner.

    I was really looking forward to use the app with the cam, but it is not up to date and very slow to open on iPhone. The touch screen is not very responsive, very disappointed. Also, you can find a better price for this "on-sale" product. Very disappointed.

      On your iPhone, go into Settings- MyNextbase- Location- Ensure this is set to 'Always'. If you see 'Background Refresh Data' this must also be turned on.     This road cam is not what I expected. The picture is not clear as I thought. It is dropped sometimes when the road conditions is not so good. I spent more money on it, but it is not better than my previous one. I will return it and buy the previous brand.

    Absolutely hate this dashcam. It always turn on and off when I'm driving.Worst mounting system ever, the camera unmounts with a liytle shake or impact.The screen is so small that I can't see the picture at all. STAY AWAY!!!

      1. Do you have the Screen Saver setting enabled? This will turn the camera's screen off after 30 seconds.
      2. Do you have Parking Mode enabled? This will turn the camera off if the car is still for 5 minutes or more.
      3. Please remove the SD card, then press the reset button on the underside of the Dash Cam. Then, without the SD card inserted, please turn on the Camera. Does it now start and stay on normally? If so, the SD card is not compatible.
      4. Regarding the mount, there's an adhesive mount in the box. If your suction mount is coming off your windscreen, I'd recommend cleaning the windscreen and then using the adhesive bracket instead.

    Useless a complete waste of money, video resolution is hopeless unable to read any number plates so quite pointless. The Nextbase app is worse than useless. If you require maximum frustration this is for you, it’s hopeless

    Over price product. It was expect something with better picture quality. I think my roommate $60 dash cam has better quality than this. This is waste of money. I will return and the better one.

    The dash cam itself is pretty decent, and does its job well. It comes with all the tools you need to install it in your car except an SD card that is a must for its operation. I love the way the parking mode is intended to work, and its settings do work pretty well. This is the mode you can enable, if you want the camera to record any sudden movements to your car while its off. Where it fails is the abysmal battery life. As soon, as the car shuts off the battery runs out in a few mins. I tried it out and most of the time, anything within 5 minutes of car being switched off got recorded, but then it would shut off completely and not be able to record anything beyond that. However, this is not a usecase everyone might be so particular about, for an on road dash cam this has a good viewing angle and good video quality. You can select from 2 video qualities or have it record in both, but that will eat up your storage extremely quickly. So, you might want to choose your SD card accordingly. The mobile app is good enough, but not great. The video playback on the app is sluggish and so is traversing time within a video. Overall I would say, if all you care about is on road dashcam, this is buyable. But if you also want to use their "Parking Mode" feature, atleast my unit is not good enough.
