I upgraded to this new system and love it even more. Setting up is easy and remote viewing is simple to set up and use. I’m A senior citizen and if I can do it so can anyone else. Love it.

Easy to use with quality video
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have enjoyed the system and the phone app has allowed us to monitor cameras when we were away. Easy to use and playback is very helpful. For the developers, perhaps and option to tag video so I can review it later with my spouse instead of having to go back and find it again. We captured a car accident that plowed into our fence and was able to identify someone leaving the scene. We had to review the footage several times. Having the ability to log the footage for playback would have been helpful. Let me know if the feature already exists and I missed it. Not sure why but the system burned out after 3 years and I need to replace the central hub. I would like for it to be easier to replace components if and when needed.

I purchased and found out that the motion feature will not record without heat! Example: dogs recorded inside then they went outside. They came in wet and cold. The PIR system did not record them. Lights, outside movement like trash can getting blown over will not be recorded because there is no heat. Block your heat and you will not be recorded. A defect that needs to be corrected !

Posted .This system is not defective. Im not sure this technology was properly explained to you. This system is not designed to record or send out a push alert unless (motion + heat) are detected at the SAME time. Not one or the other, which is where the confusion is. If a piece of trash or a bird flies in front of your camera, it shouldn't be recorded. That is the entire point of this technology. Our Dual Sensor Technology was designed to help conserve hard drive (HDD) space and to reduce the number of alerts customers receive. The vast majority of our customers do not want to be alerted to trash blowing in front of the camera, or birds, or bugs, or changes in lighting or rainfall. Most prefer more substantial threats, such as humans animals or vehicles. That is what this technology is meant to achieve. If this is not the benefit you sought, this is not the best system for you. A standard motion detection system would have sufficed. The PIR lens does have a range limitation, meaning heat producing events outside of that range will not be recorded.
