    I had 2 copies of this lens, both were bad. There is a known issue with the AF capability of this lens and although I could have sent it in for a $500+ repair, it seems to me that a nearly $3,000 lens should work as expected right out of the box. Do better, Nikon.

    Couldn't be happier. Excellent optics, speed, etc. On inaugural shoot, I was able to zoom in using AF and high speed shutter to capture Ducks landing and taking off a local lake.

    An absolutely incredible lens! Between this and the 24-70 2.8, Nikon is proving that there are clear benefits to the z mount.
