    I bought this lens as my general purpose replacement for the jit lens on my D7200 as well as for macro / slide duplication. It clearly shines as a macro lens, a little bit short. Macro images are particularly beautiful. Inexpensive, sharp focusing and good contrast make this a useful DX lens.

    I really like this lens! It allows me to zoom very closely at small objects, such as insects or flower parts and I am able to get details that otherwise would go unnoticed.

    I cannot rave enough about this lense. I have used it for wild flowers and even with a lense ball to shoot waterfalls very good lense

    This lens is a good first macro lens, without a doubt you get what you pay for. If you want a beautiful macro lens get the 105mm, if you can't afford that then it's fine. Get this lens if you want to try macro photography or just want a smaller macro lens.
