Flawless lens. Extremely sharp and fast enough when used with the Nikon D7000. Maybe too great a depth of field for portraiture, but still excellent.

The Nikon 16-85 VR lens is a nice upgrade from the 18-55 VR kit lens. Included is a lens pouch and hood.

this is known as a slow glass lens. your minimum aperture will range from 3.5 to 5.6. That is not good unless the conditions are sunny. I returned the lens for a mint used 17-55 f/2.8 which is not only faster glass, it is consistent thru the range.
I would recommend this to a friend
