More than I expected! Shoot some really good portraits with it!

I wanted a prime lens to play around with. I have shot several hundred pictures with this lens so far and have a very high percentage of keepers. It takes very nice pictures and the value is outstanding. I wish Nikon made a fixed lens in a super wide angle that was on par with this 35mm. If something happens to this lens I will replace it immediately.

Happy to buy this lens as it is small, light and so far efficient, especially, for portraits. Helped me to restart using my camera...I look forward to take more and more photos.

I’m new to DSLR photography and got this lense based on books/magazines I have read stating that every photographer should have a prime lens in their arsenal. This lense takes nice pictures.

This lens is the best purchase I made to pair with my new Nikon D5500. My photos are amazing now! It's perfect for portraits and makes landscapes like mountains look like paintings. It's also amazing for product and food photography. :)

The lens is great and light. good for portrait, group shooting and ability to shoot at a low light. Nice blur effect. I used with nikon d5200.

I recently used as a lens on the trip to California to shoot close ups portrait and landscape photos using my Nikon D 90 in the images turned out stunning

I love this lens. It’s not as close as the 50 but able to get a wider shot which is good for small events

I use this lens to do landscape and group photos. Works like a charm. Great to have in your tool box of lens.

Although I'm shooting mirrorless most of the time now, I needed a 35mm for my crop sensor.

Cheapest prime to get you in the game of shooting using prime.

This lens takes beautiful pictures I took some beautiful pictures. The camera focus is phenomenal, however there is no zoom on the lens. Below is a photo of my reptile

Great lens. I picked this up because my 70mm to 300mm zoom lens wouldn't allow me to take close up photos at night using my flash. This lens was awesome!

Very good lens for shooting at night with a flash. Lens focuses very fast and is very sharp to use.

I'm so happy I picked up this lense. I've only tried it out with portraits so far but it takes amazing photos.

This is a good lens to use on crop-frame Nikon DSLRs. One of my Nikons is an aging D-40, but the combination of the camera and this lens allowed me to take several nice photos during a late Christmas Eve service with only a slight adjustment of brightness in post.

I love this lens for indoors!! Couldn't go without it
