I purchased this lens for my Nikon D750. I am extremely happy with the image quality and capability of this lens. A must-have, in my amateur opinion.

Not the best focus, would rather purchase a sigma or the 58 1.4 from Nikon! That one I love. Not Nikons best lens unfortunately if you're looking for a 50 in the same price range I'd go for the 50 1.8 from Nikon as a beginner upgrade.

Great lens for low light settings Candlelight church photos twilight and dawn. Anywhere you do not need a flash. I wish I purchased the lens from the beginning. Lightweight is a big plus.

I was looking for a lens to help me capture images in low lighting situations and this lens is very good for that. I would recommend it if you have a similar need.

This lens can be used for anything. Super sharp and super crisp. I love it. Good for portraits, dogs, cars, mainly anything! I use it more than my other lenses when I shoot!

A great lens with low f stop for any enthusiast. Allows you to take low light pictures and day time images with a flawless bokeh affect. Highly recommend.

I know there's a 1.8f out there but don't settle for it. Take the extra step and go with the 1.4f I promise you won't regret it. After all you can still choose smaller apertures with this lens.

This lens is my everyday go to. It’s sharp as a knife and it will not disappoint. I have both this one and the 1.4 and in my opinion this one is the best by far.

I love the bokeh this lens produces. I use this for portraits and everyday life in my house to capture special moments with great details.
I am glad I went with this lens over the f/1.8

Fast and sure. As with any prime lens, you need to have an eye for a good shot. If you have the lighting and an interesting subject, this lens will capture it in perfection.

After months of research, I finally decided on this product from Best Buy. Why Best Buy, because there is found the "Best" price; and although the lens was not in the store, they were more than happy and took the time while I had them switch from screen to screen while I checked the specs vs the price. On top of that, they offered free shipping to my address of choice and it arrived on time.
I was surprised that I didn't receive any member Points for the purchase; yet they still remain my "1st Stop 2 Shop" when it comes to my electronic and photography needs for my business.
