I purchased as a gift and couldn't be happier ... I even had a chance to use it briefly and was very impressed. In the last year, I have had a Canon & a Sony for my own personal use and they do not even come close to the picture quality or the speed that this camera takes pictures. I Love It and Now I want a Nikon. Very Happy !!!!!!!

All I have to say about this camera is buy it! Easy to use, takes great pictures and has lots of features.

I bought this camara for my son that needed one for hiking trips, even though there is no pictures yet , we used it for the holidays, and the photos are so clear ,too clear I would say (because of our imperfections). I took one of him (not so close) and you could not see his acne ..love those kind of pictures! so the selection of settings is great, is for any situation...We try to take outdoor pictures of x-mas, but they were not clear (not enough lighting) but... I just gave him the camara the day before, so as you can tell there was not enough time to play with it..ohhh and don't move so much!

This camera has been very user friendly, charges rapidly, and holds a charge well. Very happy with the purchase.

Novice to using a point and shoot. Used to inventory a Storage Unit - good pics and I was able to email them w/o problems - no learning curve needed for photos for dummy

I love having a camera that is easy to take and snap those moments that are lost because no one has a camera. I'm surprised how many "moments" I have captured just having the camera handy. Picture quaility is very good.

I received this camera for Christmas and with a toddler running around it gets a lot of use. I will admit the picture quality is great compared to my Olympus, and the battery life is long. However I have only had this camera for 3 months and I am already having problems with the shutter not opening completely. Another downfall to this camera is how long is takes for the picture to actually snap. I have missed a lot of great pictures due to the delay. I like the fact that the camera came with everything including the camera case, however it does how its problems.

My fiance and I were looking into a camera that was capable of what we wanted. We were mainly looking for something under 200 and that was able to take great quality pics and video. This is that camera. We don't have much experience in cameras so we can't say it is the greatest but for the price I would say it is very difficult to find a competitor.

I really like this camera. I have a Nikon DSLR and wanted something that was easy to carry around when I'm traveling. I wasn't sure how much I'd be willing to sacrifice the quality of my DSLR for convenience, but I'm finding myself using it much more than I thought I would and getting some great pictures that I would have missed without it.

This camers takes the finest pictures I've seen from any camera in i'ts price range. I would highly recommend this camera for anyone seeking great performance and a high quality photos.

I bought this camera for my boyfriend as a gift and loved the quality of the camera and the awesome pictures it took that I ordered me one and the price (was on sale at the time) was GREAT! I Would definatley recomend this to someone looking for a digital camera!

i bought this camera to replace my sony cybershot that i had for 5 years. so far, it's been taking good pics - although the very 1st time i used it the pics were excellent, and now they are just good after 14 days of use. i don't know why. i don't like that it's delayed when you take the pic, it's not very quick. with a 2 year old, it's hard to get him to look and nevermind if there is a delay with the click...i may have had a different choice if I had known this. overall - good.

I got this to replace a Nikon S3000, and this has a better picture than the old one. The video is real good except in low light areas. For 200 bucks you cant go wrong.

I bought the camera for Christmas. Used it several times and it takes beautiful pictures! No red eyes....clear...bright.....color is natural looking. I would definitely recommend to someone looking for a small pocket size camera for vacations, etc.

Having two young children, I wanted a camera that could take their picture before they moved. AND without having to change settings for lighting and such. This is perfect for that. I'm very excited about this purchase.

Camera takes great pics..Fun to play with...Could even read the names of the cruise ships on distance pics.

The 6000 is a great choice at a great price point. My wife loves this camera due to it's ease of use. The auto feature takes great pictures. But we both love the fact that if you have ambient light in the background you can set this camera to adjust for it and the pics come out great. Easy to use. Also, the battery life is wonderful and not having to buy double A batteries is a plus. The camera charger is a USB cable with a thin wall wart power supply. This goes with my wife everywhere in her purse. It definitely fits the bill when it comes to ease of use, price, and compact.

I asked for a camera that I could keep in my purse that took decent pictures. Not only did I get a camera that fits in my purse I got one that takes fantastic pictures!!
