Due to COVID 19 and being in lock down since purchasing the camera, I have not had the opportunity to play with as much as I'd like. In going through the functions and learning about the ability of the camera, it will be fun to take creative shots. It should be a great travel camera with all it has to offer, Love the range of the lens, but don't forget the tripod.

Tired of dragging all the lenses for my Nikon DSLR so this is the perfect travel camera. Took pictures of the lunar eclipse the other night using moon setting and got some terrific pictures. Still learning to get the most out of this camera but so far I am very happy.

The camera takes incredible pictures. Only problem is it’s not charging the battery. There fore my camera is not taking pictures with me. It is in repair shop for a week at least. Used for a week.

I would have loved to have given this camera a 5 star review, -because when it did work, it was amazing! However after 2 cool pix 950s 5 stars is not possible. In short -It became impossible to obtain focus on subjects through the lens. Each camera was sent back to Nikon for repair… one time (first camera) it was rendered defective, and the second time (second camera) it was handed back to me and identified as “repaired”! It was not repaired and still had the same inability to focus

for a point and click, it is light, but is not that easy to use. You hve relaize that each mode has a menu and they are all different. There is no one around who can teach u just a little bit on how every thing works. Gurnee use to have some one around who knew something, but now they do not. Why sell a product and not have some one to show u how every thing works!!

My 1st preference was the CoolpixP1000, my friend uses and pictures are fantastic; no longer available so I bought P950. I feel I can trust a Nokon product.

to big and bulky, same mp as my old coolpix,so I returned it
