Really great entry level camera. Takes really clear shots, controls are easy to use and 60fps video is nice too.

This nikon camera is lighter than other camera. The battery lasts long and easy to carry. Good price and high quality

This is my first DSLR and I'm still learning how to use it. I bought this camera with the intention of using it for macro photography trying to get away from the clip on macro lenses for cell phones. This is an excellent entry level DSLR. It has quite a few auto modes and the ability to shoot RAW format as well as JPEG. Be prepared for a lot of YouTube tutorials on how to bring out the best from this camera.

Great all-around camera. More than enough bells and whistles for a beginner; there is a learning curve but plenty of "how-to" info is available. This is our first DSLR; decided to upgrade from point & shoot digital. Long ago we were manual SLR power users; it's hard getting used to the camera being so automated. We got it for taking high-quality photos of artwork and scenery. The quality of images is outstanding, very glad we made the investment! Feeling like this was a good value and we're just getting started. The 18-55mm lens that came with the body is just right for our needs.
