I got this as my first camera after I fell in love with it at the store. I can't complain about it at all! Although it may be tricky with all the settings in the start, it's a great camera and there are plenty of resources to help. It also has such a wide range of lens compatibility that is cheaper than going mirrorless. Ultimately that was my reasoning for going with a DSLR. I'm just glad I didn't listen to all the hate that this camera was getting. I'm really happy with it!

Amazing quality. Takes great pictures and videos. The touchscreen is a nice improvement. And the internal filters are cool.

I upgraded from a 5300 and this was a nice jump up. Excellent auto focus and the 18_140 kit Lens works well. 4K video looks good.

I love this camera. Just playing with it now. great night shots, sunsets close ups and portraits. I can't wait to go to the races to see if it's as good as my old FE2. It does more than I think I'll ever do. Just learning some of the features.

My daughter is an amateur photographer and I bought this camera as a beginner camera. She absolutely loves it! It is user friendly so she picked up quiet quickly different functions of the camera. She still thanks me every time she uses it!

This is the best camera I've ever owned. And the included kit lenses were great too. I think this is the best camera value I could get for the money. Sure there are higher end cameras but they can't match this camera's dollar for feature ratio.

I'm new to photography, but learning with this camera has been fun. If I had to do it again though, I would not have bought the kit with the 18-140 lens. Instead, buying the body with the 18-200 lens would have been a better choice, providing a degree of telephoto for movie shooting.. Still, I'm very happy with the camera.

I love the quality and sharpness of the photos with my Nikon 7500. The speed of this camera allows me to catch all the right shots at just the right moment! Waited a long time to purchase this and so glad I did-didn’t realize just how much I was missing out on!

Great item to have to take pics on vacations,graduation and grandchildren.

The camera itself is breathtakingly good with a solid grip and premium finish. The bundled lens is however mediocre but still decent for a beginner. Get the cam body separately and buy a premium lens, if you can!

this is my first DSLR camera, even though I am not a professional photographer I get great quality pictures, very clear and sharp. I couldn’t be happier and satisfied with this purchase. Nikon is the best!

I am very pleased with this camera. It is a capable enough piece of equipment for hobbyist and prosumer applications. It is sized to fit comfortably in hand. It is relatively lightweight. The zoom lens is it convenient all-in-one walk around lens. I should have this camera for some time and I should enjoy it for quite a while.
