I was surprised to find this Samus character on sale. It's going to be VERY hot soon once the new 3DS Metriod game comes out. I was grateful to see that Best Buy had it in stock!!! Great stuff, glad that they're ordering their products the way they are.

I don't believe it to be Best Buy's fault, but the character mold leans to one side. To the best of my memory, it looked normal in the package, but upon opening it, I discovered how much she leans. She is slightly movable, but always goes back to standing in an oblong way. I kind of like the uniqueness of it, but it's definitely not what Best Buy or the manufacturer have intended in their product.

I am a figure collector. I buy figures in any price range as long as the quality of the figure is worth the price. I am very surprised on how much care and detail went into making these amiibo figures. This Samus paint job is top notch. And the detail gone into the modeling process is quite superb. I am very happy with this purchase.

I've got this amiibo so this will be a general review of the figure quality and it's in game use. Quality: These are great looking figures. I was very happy with the quality of all the figures. They feel solid, probably won't break with an accidental drop. Really nice to look at. You could display these and never use them in a game and it would be a nice looking collection. In game use: First thing you need to understand is that you don't need to buy any amiibos for any games. There are several Games like Smas Bros Wii U, Hyrule Warrios, Mario Kart 8, etc. BTW! This Amiibo is very difficult to find!

For $13 this is a pretty nice display figurine. Also, the NFC chip in it makes it useful with games (although not necessary to play said games). So far I've used it with Smash Bros (fight against the character and configure traits) and Hyrule Warriors (get an extra item), though it may be used in future games too (come on, new Metroid game!).

After purchasing Mario, I picked up this Samus as well as a few others as stocking stuffers for my friends for the holiday. The amiibos were a hit! They are fun to use for Smash Bros Wii U, and this Samus is very cool. Unfortunately not metallic as the shiny plastic may make it look, but well-detailed nonetheless!

It's the Samus Amiibo, what else can I say? Stunning design and a great center piece to anyone's collection. Also great perks in other games using this Amiibo (i.e. Mariokart, you get a Samus costume) this surely will be used when Metroid Wii U comes out.

Simply put, this Samus amiibo just looks great. Both on shelves and still in the box, she's got a great level of detail for the price. Not to mention, she is useable for gaming purposes with the WiiU and I believe the 3DS versions of Super Smash Bros.

A must buy if you liked playing any of the metroid games. Samus in the battle armor is perfectly detailed and is one of the only amiibos that really shines. A must buy for collectors of amiibos or fans of metroid.

Amiibos are just so gorgeous to look at. Yet they're not just for looks either with a bunch of games and rising for compatibility. Samus Aran is highly detailed and naturally stunning.

Great detail and it looks great on the shelf too, when I'm not using it in Smash Bros. Also, I was able to use it in Mario Kart 8 to unlock the Mii Samus costume.

This is by far the best looking and most detailed amiibo. I needed it for my collection. The mii racing suit was an awesome bonus and adds to mario kart.

There's really not much to say about the presentation of Samus, though that doesn't mean she isn't among the best looking amiibo out there. At first glance, her pose is quite simplistic, walking upright like a typical android would, although she is still an human being wearing the iconic Varia Suit. All of that made her authoritative and gave her sense of determination. And that applies to every angle you look at. The nearly entirely metallic paint job on her suit is fantastic, for an humanoid shaped amiibo. Unlike most of the amiibo, try putting her under any lighting and you'll see her shining with her armor that it makes Adam Malkovich so proud of her. It's a shame that it's not possible to see her face in the visor, but it doesn't matter as much, because there's always Zero Suit Samus amiibo coming up soon in North America. Aside from the silver micro-stands that hold her feet in place like the promotional artwork used, these can go pretty much unnoticed, especially when you're only looking in front of her.

Well made, good detail, most likely won't open to have as a collectors, will probably buy a 2nd one to use.

The detail on this figure is amazing. The sculpt and the paint job are excellent. I love this amiibo.
